Asian Rhinoplasty Expert

Asian rhinoplasty is a key operation that any experienced rhinoplasty surgeon can do.  However, the question you must ask is, "can they do it well?"  And what does 'Asian' rhinoplasty mean?  Asia is a big place.  Every ethnicity in Asia has different characteristics and different desires for the results from rhinoplasty.  Is Northern Chines the same as Cambodian rhinoplasty?  Each of these noses has distinctly different characteristics and must be respected both pre-operatively and post-operatively.  Look at the websites and ask about experience.  Just because someone does  a high volume of something doesn't make them the best choice for you.  Aesthetics are everything!

Rhinoplasty

Thank you for your question. I suggest that you use the following metrics to evaluate a board certified facial plastic surgeon:

- years in practice

- education/training

- number of rhinoplasties/asian rhinoplasties performed

- level and number of board certification

- patient testimonials/before and after photos

- recommendations from friends/family/colleagues

Asian rhinoplasty specialist

There are excellent doctors in LA. It's often prudent to consult in person with ~3 rhinoplasty specialists experienced in Asian noses to find who fits your personality and instills confidence in you. Good luck!

Asian Rhinoplasty

Depending on what you are looking to achieve, please consult with a board certified specialist in Asian rhinoplasty surgery.  An in-office consultation is best for a thorough evaluation of your nose (inside and out) as well as 3-dimensional computer imaging that can help you visualize what you may look like afterwards and serve as an important communication tool with your surgeon.
