A Mommy Makeover is a combination of procedures to bring a woman’s body back to the way she looked prior to pregnancy. Most commonly some variation of a #TummyTuck and #BreastSurgery are performed. Additional procedures can include liposuction, umbilical hernia repair. The most common #breastprocedures include #mastopexy or #breastlift, #breastaugmentation, or #breastreduction. The costs of a #Mommy Makeover will depend on several factors. Such include the geographic location, the skill and experience of the surgeon, and operating room and anesthesia fees. Also, such #combined operations are often performed with our Gynecology colleagues. Tubal ligation is a common post pregnancy procedure which is done at the time of many of the surgeries included with Mommy Makeovers. Therefore, if you require a gynecologic operation or study (laparoscopy) and are considering a plastic surgery procedure, discuss these issues with your doctor. Combining these procedures decreases anesthetics, costs, and recovery time. Your procedures should be performed by a #PlasticSurgeon who is board-certified and has a great deal of experience specializing in cosmetic #surgery. You will then greatly improve your chances of getting the result you desire, and, without the need for a revision surgery. It is suggested that you look at before and after photos of the surgeons actual patients, and read patient reviews. Gathering all of this information will help you make a well-informed decision.
Thank you for your questions. The cost of the mommy makeover varies by surgeon, as well as the possible procedures that you can have. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon who is an expert in performing the mommy makeover.
All the best,
Hello. The costs for Tummy Tuck or Abdominoplasty will vary depending on what region of the US you live in and the physician doing the surgery. The cost can usually be broken down in to the surgical fee, the operating room fee, and the anesthesia fee. As the OR and anesthesia often charge by the hour, these fees can vary depending on how long it takes to do the procedure. Someone very petite with no fat (just loose skin) will take less time than someone larger. Total costs in the Bay Area probably range from under 10K to close to 15K or 20K. Depending on your insurance plan, repair of a hernia at the same time may be covered as well as some or all of the OR and anesthesia costs. This can vary widely. Select a plastic surgeon you are comfortable with who will take great care of you and has the talent to deliver the results you are looking for. Don't make price the deciding factor but take it into overall consideration. Dean Vistnes.
The mommy makeover can include a number of different operations based upon your anatomy and goals.

The price varies from doctor to doctor, and that depends on their
regular package price and their experience in different countries. There are several
price levels that has to do with overhead costs and accommodation cost, that
are more economic from one countries to the other. This does not mean if a surgery
is well or not well done, on the contrary there are excellent doctors all over

Hello, to give you an accurate answer, i would need to know what procedures you want to have done. Price range will depend mostly on that. For example, in the Dominican Republic, if you were to have a tummy tuck with liposuction and bbl, the price range would be around 4000-6000 USD, if you were to have breast lift as well, add 1500-2000 Usd to the previous range. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question about the mommy makeover. The name “mommy makeover” actually refers to
the combination of procedures that a patient may have after having had children
to restore their pre-pregnancy shape and figure. Many of these popular
combinations include breast augmentation, tummy tuck, tummy tuck with
liposuction and breast lift. We perform
all of these procedures in our office and find that the most popular
combination with our patients is breast augmentation with lift and tummy tuck
with liposuction. It’s important to
remember that plastic surgery is about improvement, not perfection and to seek
the advice of a board certified plastic surgeon and one who is a member of the
ASPS. Best of luck to you. –Dr. Coan.
What your mommy makeover would include depends on what you specifically wish to improve. Mommy makeovers are a combination of procedures of the breasts (reduction, lift, augmentation, or combinations of these) and the trunk (liposuction, abdominoplasty, or combinations of these) meant to return your body to a better more youthful shape after pregnancies. What procedures would be the most benefit to you would be decided between you and your plastic surgeon. The cost would depend on what procedures you wish to have, the surgeon you choose, the location, ie surgery center or hospital and the geographic location, but the cost is likely to range from $11,000 to $16,000. Combining operations, as long as your surgeon feels this is safe for you, usually reduces the cost. See a board certified plastic surgeon or several for consultations till you find one who you connect with.
Mommy makeover is a non-medical, "loose" term. Nevertheless, it usually describes any procedure that aims to reverse the effects of pregnancy--examples include breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, and abdominal liposuction.
Take note that mommy makeover surgery is a highly customized procedure since each patient has "unique" anatomies and motives and expectations.
Your "focus" should not be about getting a good deal or huge discount. As a prudent plastic surgery patient, your number one priority is to find a board-certified plastic surgeon (i.e., Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery).
Good luck and best wishes.
Thank you for the question. When it comes to cost of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The exact operation planned, the specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites (including attached link) as well. You may find the attached link helpful as you learn more. Best wishes.
