No, masturbation does not cause hair loss. It is most likely genetic, but you should see a doctor to determine the cause. There are treatments that can likely stop the hair loss or slow it down.

This is a very common question...
Simply put, there is no relationship between hair loss and masturbation. Hair loss is mainly genetic but there are also medical conditions that can cause hair loss. However, the best advice I can give you is to go to a reputable hair restoration clinic to be evaluated. Reputable meaning one that is not trying to be a salesman and going straight to book a hair transplant. A reputable hair restoration clinic will provide you with ALL of your options concerning how to stop your hair loss now and counsel you correctly so you yourself can be informed enough to make a sound decision. Please be aware of high pressure sales tactics.

In a word, NO.
Testosterone increases which causes an increased desire to masturbate, as well as increased DHT leading to hair loss.  Someone in history probably noticed the coincidence and started a rumor, but one does not cause the other.

Masturbation and sex

masturbation and sex and not a cause of hair loss. Sex drive is caused by testosterone and it is a normal process, see below
