Not uncommon problem after glaucoma implants

Strabismus  (eye misalignment) is not unusual following Baerveldt implant surgery.  Sometimes this can be managed with prism glasses, but occasionally eye muscle surgery is appropriate.  Sometimes the implant itself requires repositioning or even removal.  Consult a pediatric ophthalmologist (we're the ones who deal with most eye muscle and eye misalignment problems).
