Retained hair fragments coming out or new hair?

5 weeks post FUT. Notice multiple small black dots of thick hair just over the surface of skin in transplanted area. They appear but don't grow more than 1 mm and don't grow at all after that. They are easily removable with tweezer. Are these non growing retained hair fragments being pushed out by new hair on inside or are these actually the new hair. Thanks once again, KK

Post op Hairtransplant

After a couple of weeks post hair transplant, the hair shafts usually falls off with the scabs. The follicles remain and will start to grow after s few weeks.

What you are reporting reflects the normal shed seen after any hair transplant. The grafts are uched out by the body with crusts on them and hair  inside them
