Can my overbite be corrected with braces and no surgery? (photo)

I am 22 and noticed I had a chipped tooth then got thinking about my overbite. My two front bottom teeth touch my gums behind my top teeth when it's shut. I've noticed my bottom teeth are slightly angled towards the inside of my mouth too. I was wondering if my overbite can be fixed using braces? And do I need to fix the chipped teeth before getting them? Scared of dentists and self conscious about my teeth.

Can a Deep Bite Be Corrected With Orthodontics?

Great question. Absolutely your deep bite can be corrected with orthodontics/braces. I would recommend fixing the chipped tooth before having braces. You should not need to be scared of dentists in today's world. If your dentist scares you, find a new one. Well done orthodontics will increase your confidence because it will give you a smile you will be proud to show off.Good luck!
