I had a Genius rf microneedling procedure done at the end of September by a board certified derm. Scabbing lasted ~10 days and after falling off the skin underneath was splotchy and scars looked more pronounced. I have a darker skin type (Fitzpatrick 4) and do not respond well to hydroquinone. The provider agreed that my skin looks worse after the procedure and recommended fraxel 1927. However, second opinion said that could cause more PIH. Included before and after of same cheek. Thoughts?
