Hello and thank you for your question. Laser Hair Removal would be a great treatment for you to help diminish your dark pores. Laser Hair removal works by picking up the melanin (color) in the root of the hair. After a few treatments you will notice the hair getting thinner and lighter in color, which will make the roots harder to see. Depending on what laser is used, anywhere from 7-12 treatments will be needed. With your pre-existing scars, Laser Hair Removal should not make them any worse if treated properly, but the actual treatment of removing the hair might not be as effective in those areas with darker pigment. When your pigment is dark, your technician needs to be extra careful with energy levels on those areas to not cause burns.
