My dermatologist said I had lichen planus. So he prescribed betamethasone lotion. He said he see some hair follicles but he also see scaring where I permanently lost hair follicles. So his plan is to save the other hair follicles in the area. He also saw where the follicles in the thin area are inflamed at the root. I want to know how long will I see results if I will see any, How can this medication help save the hair follicles, and if by "saving" does that mean my hair will get thicker?
