Have I waited too long to start really treating FPHL? (photos)

Hair loss 1 year. Biopsy said FPHL Jan 2016. High sheds 150-300. Tried 5% Women's minox foam. Got headaches. Tried trichologist thymus extract and essential oil blend, viviscal...Really haven't started treatment program and have lost 1/2 density. Thinning bad at temples and front see through. I can't take spiro because of low blood pressure. What should I try? 2% minox, laser, prp? 40s female. All 3 derms just said use minox for 6-9 months or say it won't help frontal loss. Help?!

I suggest seeking an expert for further evaluation of your hair loss. Non invasive treatments such as PRP/ progesterone have shown improvements. Best, Dr. Emer

Women with female patterned hair loss

You need to be examined by an experienced hair transplant surgeon. 80% of women are not candidates for a hair transplant because their donor area is miniaturized. You first most find out why you are losing hair and have your donor area examined for miniaturization during the diagnostic process. See extensive write-up below
