Did I really hurt my chance of 20/20 vision after eating an edible after LASIK surgery?

Excuse my terminology if it is incorrect, but I had my wavefront guided, custom lasik, done last Friday on 5/22/15 around 430pm. I went through the usual nap and pretty much slept the rest of the night. My concern is the following Monday (5/25/15), I ate a weed brownie at night to help go to sleep. After the brownie kicked in, I did use artificial tears every 15 minutes until I passed out. Would the edible have cause over dryness while I was asleep and hindered my healing process?

By all means, have an ophthalmologist examine you. It is most likely a refractive error. You won't be able to have anything done about it until after your pregnancy, however. The vision may return to normal spontaneously (by itself) after the pregnancy.

Strabismus is usually associated with amblyopia. This is loss of visual potential that occurs in childhood when the eyes are not aligned. Most prudent refractive surgeons will only recommend LASIK surgery if the vision in the weaker eye is no less than 20/40.

Since you have noticed a change in vision you should have an eye exam. In general, LASIK does not "wear off", there are a number of possible causes for a change in vision and there is high probability that there is an eye condition unrelated to your LASIK that is affecting your vision (dry...
