Filling Tear Troughs

Thank you for posting your question. Fat transfer and fillers are both commonly used options for volume augmentation. Fat transfer can yield long-lasting effects, but the result varies widely among individuals as different amount of fat is reabsorbed into the body. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm are popular choices that yield consistent results, but they last about six months. Many patients choose these fillers before going with more permanent options such as Bellafill. I recommend that you meet with an experienced and certified physician to discuss which option is best for your specific needs.

Tear Trough Fillers -- Try Cannulas, Voluma/Belotero/Restylane

I find the best is using fillers like restylane silk or belotero.  Secondarily sculptra, PRP do well.  Fat can have long term complications if not done well.  Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.
