About the Mommy Makeover Procedure & Estimated Costs

A Mommy Makeover is a combination of procedures to bring a woman’s body back to the way she looked prior to pregnancy. Most commonly some variation of a #TummyTuck and #BreastSurgery are performed. Additional procedures can include liposuction, umbilical hernia repair.  The most common #breastprocedures include #mastopexy or #breastlift, #breastaugmentation, or #breastreduction.  #MummyTummy is a term given to modified tummy tucks which can use liposuction and skin tightening with radiofrequency such Vanquish, Vela3, thermage, thermiRF and others.  The actual fat contouring can be done non-surgically as well with #UltraShape or Cool-Sculpting.

#Combined operations are often performed with our #Gynecology colleagues. Tubal ligation is a common post pregnancy procedure which is done at the time of many of the surgeries included with a #MommyMakeover. If you require a gynecologic operation or study (laparoscopy) and are considering a plastic surgery procedure, discuss these issues with your physician and board-certified plastic surgeon. Also, combining these #procedures may decrease anesthetics, costs, and recovery time.

Your procedures should be performed by a #PlasticSurgeon who is board-certified and has a great deal of experience specializing in cosmetic #surgery. You will then greatly improve your chances of getting the result you desire, and, without the need for a revision surgery. It is suggested that you look at before and after photos of the surgeons actual patients, and read patient reviews. Gathering all of this information will help you make a well-informed decision.

The costs of a #Mommy Makeover will depend on several factors. Such include the geographic location, the skill and experience of the surgeon, and operating room and anesthesia fees. Approximate #costs can be found here on the Real Self website, Surgery.org, or PlasticSurgery.org. Also, the costs are contingent on the specific #procedures being combined in the operation.

Mommy Makeover - Cost?

Thank you for your question. It is worth having multiple consultations to evaluate cost variation among surgeons in your area. The cost for a mommy makeover commonly ranges from $12,000 - $18,000. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon based upon experience and the results he or she can deliver, not just on cost alone. Hope this helps and good luck with your procedure.

MMO Price

It is impossible to answer your question without knowing what procedures you MMO will have.

Prices varies from Surgeon and location, in DR the total price (surgeon's fees, anesthesia fees and facility fees) for this surgery will be from 5000 - 10,000 when performed by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. I would recommend you first to decide where you want to have your surgery done, and then pick a few Surgeons and consult until you find someone you feel you can trust. make sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who perform his surgeries in an accredited facility

Best of luck,

Tummy tuck, breast lift, liposuction and BBL - fees?

Thank you for asking about your mommy make-over and BBL.

  • A common question - but fees vary greatly.
  • To get a general estimate, you can google the average cost on-line.
  • Then  have a consultation or several to see if you are a candidate for the surgery -
  • And if you should have it in one operation or two (two is the usual recommendation, for safety.)
  • Please choose your surgeon based on criteria of competence -
  • So have a few consultations, find out the fees from several surgeons in your area -
  • Then  choose the surgeon in whom you have most confidence - unless the fees are out of your budget -
  • Then choose the one whom you can afford - provided you feel this is a surgeon you can trust.
Always see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
Hope you find this information helpful. Best wishes.

Typically, how much is it to have lipo, tummy tuck, BBL & breast lift?

Thank you for your question. Prices for procedures are centered around three cost centers: anesthesia, facility, and surgeon's fees. The first two are usually based on the amount of time spent in the operating room with prices that are set by the respective cost center. A surgeon has discretion in his charges to patients and this will encompass the surgical procedure as well as the extent of each surgery. As these three cost center will vary across the country and by each surgeon, best to see a few physicians in consultation to have a better estimate for the NC region but i would hazard 15-20K. Hope this helps.

How much is it to have lipo, tummy tuck, BBL & breast lift?

Hello! Thank you for your question. Costs for Those procedures will certainly vary amongst surgeons as well as on your geographic location. Things to factor in from the surgical standpoint will be the facility fee, anesthesia fee, surgeon fee, other fees (e.g., liposuction, implants, surgical garment, addition of other surgical procedures, etc.). A range in price ~$10-20k is not unreasonable depending on how much lipo as well as with the BBL.  A consultation with a plastic surgeon will help you in determining which procedure(s) would be the right one for you. Cost also depends on the complexity of your case and how much work would need to be done to achieve an aesthetically-pleasing result for you. Good luck and best wishes!

Thank you for your question.
Cost will vary depending on many factors.... first of all it differs depending on if a board certified plastic surgeon is performing the surgery or not. Also, if the surgery is performed in a hospital based operating room vs. an office setting, if a board certified anesthesiologist is involved vs. a nurse (or sometimes performing procedures under local anesthesia), etc. Please be careful when doing your research to make sure your surgeon is properly trained and has experience in this procedure.

Please don't "shop around" for the cheapest price - look for a surgeon who has experience and can show you examples. Also, safety should be your TOP PRIORITY!
Mommy Makeovers also vary from patient to patient. Some patients need breast lifting as well as breast implants while others can just have breast implants. Some patients have liposuction performed in addition to tummy tuck procedure, some don't.
Its very difficult to say what your pricing would be without examination.

Best wishes.

I appreciate your question.

Cost varies by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of procedure etc. I would recommend that you go to The American Society of Plastic Surgery website and look for a list of board certified plastic surgeons in your area. You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes prior to scheduling consultations.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.
Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.

Best of luck!

How much is it to have lipo, tummy tuck, BBL & breast lift?

Thank you for your question.  There are so many variable that go into the cost of the combination of these procedures that it is difficult to answer.  I recommend you look at the cost of each individual procedure on RealSelf in your area and then assume that most surgeons give some sort of discount for combining procedures.  Then, consult with one or more board certified plastic surgeons in your area to discuss your options.  Best wishes!
