Had an alar base reduction yesterday, saw the result immediately, liked it very much though the nose was yet swollen from the injected anesthetic. But today the face looks like a balloon - cheeks, upper lip and areas around nostrils are swollen and nose is doubled in size. Spoke to my doc and he says it is normal body reaction, part of the healing process. But I need a second opinion. Is it normal? will I see that tiny cute nose that I saw after the surgery ever again? Many thanks
