After breast reduction surgery one of my nipples are darker than the other does this mean my skin is dying?

are not unusual but the nipple should be warm to touch and have 'refill' where it blanches when you push on it and the returns to color when you remove the pressure.  But not having perfectly even color in your nipples is common.
