Post-treatment redness is often seen with lasers such as CO2, erbium, Fraxel etc.  Sun protection is vital, and time will generally get this back to your pre-treatment levels; however, if you feel your redness is prolonged and significantly bothering you, you physician may be able to speed up resolution with a vascular laser (e.g.. Pulsed dye laser) - ask him if this may be an option for you.   Best wishes, Shobhan.
