Accutane, increased dosage for teenage boy

My son, who is 17 has been on 20g of accutane for 30 days. He has now started taking 50g for the next 30 days. We forgot to as the dermatologist, the 50g is made up of two 20g tablets and one 10g one. He has been taking the tablets all at once. Should he be doing this, or spacing them out?

Accutane should be taken with the fattiest and most caloric meal of the day for best absorption. Thus, he should take all the pills at once with whichever meal this is for him.
