When teeth are extracted jaw bone will resorb.  To pevent this from happening bone graft and implants could be placed

if you are getting a denture you should know that bone loss will continue at a faster rate due to the pressure placed on bone by the denture

to slow this process bone graft could be helpful. Especially if the graft is a type that does not resorb fast ( synthetic/ or xenograft)
