My technician told me to keep Vaseline on my microblading.

Question

I just got microblading done 3 days ago and my technician said to lather my eyebrows with Vaseline so I have been doing that for 3 days straight and now I’m reading all over not to do this. What can I do? I took it off with a q tip, should I wash my eyebrows and keep them dry? Thank you

Hello and thank you for your question.I recommend keeping the area dry, a clear protective barrier is applied to the brows and you avoid getting the area wet for the first 2 days, by day 3 start applying a very small amount of aquaphor or vaniply for 7-10 to days.Different providers may have different post care instructions. If you are unsure you should contact your artist just to be reassured of their post care.Hope this helps,
