My technician told me to keep Vaseline on my microblading.

I just got microblading done 3 days ago and my technician said to lather my eyebrows with Vaseline so I have been doing that for 3 days straight and now I’m reading all over not to do this. What can I do? I took it off with a q tip, should I wash my eyebrows and keep them dry? Thank you

Thank you for your question. Retinol can help fade the appearance of the tattoo, you should also ask your physician about tattoo removal if all else fails.

Hello and thank you for your question and photo.You did not do anything wrong. It is very common to lose a few strands after the initial application. It is not common to lose the whole brow. Your artist may need to go a bit deeper, to the upper dermis with the pigment. I recommend following up w...

Hi AllNaturalMe, As you said, the area to be microbladed was avoided during your IPL session. You can go ahead and have microblading. However, remember to keep the brows dry and just like in IPL, don't pick at dead or flaking skin. All the best,  Justin Harper, M.D.
