Had my 1st prp hair treatment 13 days ago. The doc injected me anesthesia twice in a form of a ring and made many injections of the prp in the crown area. On the 2nd day i suffered pain in the treated areal I tried Tylenol but it didnt help the pain so I took 1 pill of Advil 400 mg. 3 days ago I saw my forehead has really swollen (see photos) so I took 60 mg of prednisone. In the evening I saw that the swelling has migrated to my nose bridge and around my eyes.is it normal? Why it happen? Thank you
2 months back I had a PRP session after 2 days I started losing a lot of hair. Like every time i ran my hands through my hair 4-5 hairs always come out. After a month I had another session but hair loss continued, also after each session I had this slight pain and a little swelling beneath my ear which went away after 2 days. I am on finax 1mg and minopep 5 % hair serum once a day since past 1 month. I have attached my pictures since past 5 years. Please suggest.
I'm 33 and suffering from diffuse patterned alopecia 1. In what percentage will I experience increased shedding? And in which percentage I may have a worse state than before? 2. What is the average injections number per one PRP session? 3. Is it okay to have 4 weeks between each session? 4. Do you have pictures to show me how the scalp will look alike right after treatment? 5. For how much time swelling and redness can remain (in a worst case)? 6. How many prp session recommended if it works?
I had prp 1st session 4 days ago but there is no significance difference in my hair loss my hairs are still falling out as they were before prp treatment.. Moreover, it's been 4 days since my prp treatment but I still have swelling in my head.. I am using ultra mega gold, salmon oil, finasteride and minoxidil 5% on daily basis and washing my hairs with photonic any fungal ( because I have dandruff flakes).

I had ACell/PRP on my frontal hairline on Friday & immediately had forehead swelling after the treatment. I've had the fluids in my face travel from my forehead to the sides of my face, down the top bridge of my nose & under my eyes. The fluids on the sides of my eye orbitals have caused the corners of my eyes & under eyes to bruise up. I spoke to my MD today. She assured me this was normal but from what I've read about this treatment, this doesn't appear normal. Any thoughts? Thanks!
I got PRP done at a clinic & the nurses mixed basically 1/2 part my PRP & 1/2 part Lidocaine. The doctor then came in & injected it all over my face and front of scalp. My face swelled up. I'm about 24 hours later & the swelling is finally going down. BUT I read online in clinical studies that lidocaine makes the PRP less effective when it's mixed together (i'm not saying applied to face separately just in the same syringe.) Please let me know what the most effective procedure is? thank you.
