Dear Doctors, I am 18 years old and have experienced receding hairline and hair loss. My mom pointed it out to me for not more than a year ago. Since then I've been thinking about it all the time. And don't want to end up like the men from my father's and mother's side. I don't want to get a hair transplant, that's a no go from me. So I was hoping you could help me by answering my question.

I'm having trouble finding literature on PRP used for the sole purpose of increasing the rate of hair growth on individuals unaffected by androgenetic hair loss. Its ability to maintain the prolonging of the anagen growth stage? feasibility of long term application of this treatment in regards to continuous delaying of the catagen stage? Any suggestions are Greatly appreciated
I'm a 21-year-old female with androgenic alopecia. The cause of it was birth control which I no longer take. I take 200mg of spironolactone a day and use rogaine but nothings works. Since starting spironolactone I haven't gotten my period in 6months. Doc did ultrasound & says it might be PCOS and I may have to start birth control again but I'm scared it will make my hair loss worse. Would starting bc make my hair loss worse? Will PRP help with this type of hair loss? Are there other alternatives?
I am nearly 20 years old but recently when my hair got long again I have found out that my hair started thinning a very little bit from the crown and the dividers which are on the corner, I have gone to a doctor at then he wrote me minoxidil and Propecia. The thing is that right now I am afraid to take minoxidil and Propecia due to its side effects so I am thinking about having a PRP injection so what is the best thing to do ?
I am 22 years old and I started to notice my hairline was receding when I was in High School but now I had the courage to do the PRP treatment and it was going good because I saw results on my hairline but after the third session with PRP I started to notice hairs falling out of my temples and after time my hairline was receding again. Please help me out I want my original hairline back but I dont know if its safe to take finasteride and PRP at the same time.
I am 19 years old. My beard hair (cheeks and goatee region) is covered with small vellus hair. The hairs are very thin and small and haven't matured. Will PRP injected in the beard region quicken and thicken the beard? Thanks
I started on 5% rogaine recently and thinking about a topical anti-androgen such as topical spiro or propecia. Don't want to risk side effects from oral anti-androgens. Also will be starting PRP 3-6 months after I have been on rogaine. How long do you think I will be able to maintain my hair with rogaine and PRP? Do you think using rogaine will only help me keep my hair for two more years and then it will decline? I am also on a low androgen bc pill. I want to atleast keep my hair until I am 30.
Considering getting PLATELET-RICH PLASMA. i had nutritional anemia when i was 17 and i started losing hair. Will PRP work? Because i've lost some amount of hair and will it help to regrow thathair? Thank you in advance.
