Hello, I've had a hair transplant 1 month ago on my frontal area. I've had a big forehead since I was a kid, I did not have a receding hairline, I was not balding. I do have thick hair and i'm not balding anywhere. The clinic advises me to have 3 PRP sessions. These are 300 each. I'm wondering if it's really needed for me to have PRP if i'm not balding? Does it really help? And is it worth having just 1 session?
I'd like a second opinion as I am not able to reach the nurse who performed my procedure. I had PRP 3 weeks ago, since10 days after I'm loosing hundreds of hair in the injections area (not donor area) every day (thick hairs) it's increasing every day, I lost about half the density on the top. They did thousands of injections, 31g needle at 10mm depth. Did they damage definitively my hair bulbs? I had a HT 5000 grafts 9 months ago and I am loosing native and transplanted terminal thick hairs as well.
After five days of my first session of prp therapy I felt I lost some hair in some parts of my head is that normal now it's been a month I haven't lost more but the situation didn't get any better! I still have two sessions left and I'm so concern about it is that normal? Thank you all
