8+ years ago I had around -6.00 myopia before PRK. Recovery was good and results were great. A year ago, my vision changed (probably about -0.25) which I tolerated. After going on a ski trip, I noticed my vision worsened to about -0.5/-0.75. I suspect the dry weather lack of sunglasses under strong sunlight on snow degraded my vision. I visited my doctor again and he said I can still do PRK but there's a small risk of irreversible scarring. I really do not like wearing glasses. Should I risk it?
After 3 months on August 2017 , I had little bulr vision on my right , I consulted doctor , he told that scar are formed , after 3 week the vision when more blur , he had prescibed me , a lubricant drops & FML drops , is it's possible that I can get normal vision , pls give suggestions , how long it takes to recovery my vision , other than PTR please suggested any possibility
Infected eye has scarring near the surface of the cornea. PRK is recommended with a round of antiviral pre and post operative. I have not had a flare up in 10 years what are my chances of reactivation and is prk or lasik a good idea?
I have heard that an eye professional can see discoloration or scarring and be able to tell if you have had surgery (PRK) before. However, there is no way to tell a patient has received LASIK.
