Hello betterme7, breast lift with implants is the correct procedure for you. You have a ptotic breast depending on skin sagginess and volume depletion, causing an upper pole deficient volume and a large distance from the nipple to the inframammary fold. To improve your breast form it is needed to adjust your skin doing an inverted T mastopexy, so some of your breast skin and tissue will be resected and you will gain form and lose some volume. To replace that volume, and essentially to fill up your upper pole an implant is needed. To determine the volume of the implant you need take in consideration the lost tissue and your desire of augmentation.
Hello Marcy´s Mom, It is possible to play with breast implants size, projection and nipple position so you can get a balanced augmentation. Breast augmentations have to be planned before surgery, some of the things measured during consultation are the distance from nipple to inframammary fold, distance from clavicle to nipple, the breast base and volume of your breast tissue. Once you evaluate this, you can estimate how much volume and specific characteristics of the implants, so you can improve breast size, nipple position and proportions of volume on the upper pole and lower pole. You have to take in consideration that if you have a good degree of sagginess it is important to adjust your breast skin envelope.
Hello Laura Scott1309. Before considering having surgery you have to take in cosideration that you need to rest and you will need help for some activity after the surgery. The first week after surgery it is important that there is someone taking care of you, you cannot lift heavy things, make effort with your arms, make repetitive movements that involve separating your arms of your body, avoid hot enviorements (oven or stove heat), help you to stand up or washing your hair. After the first week everything goes kind of normal you can do activity in your home. After the second week you can return to work. After the third week you can start driving. At the sixth week you can start with physical activity, light cardiovascular activity. After the third month you can start weight lifting or any kind of excercise. So based on this, you will be fine to have a good time during chirstmas, but your physical activity will be limited.
Hello Justhavefaith, mi suggestion is to get in touch with you plastic surgeon. By what you are telling, it is not possible to be completely sure if this pain has its origin on a nerve or a muscular structure. I would rather say, that it is more possible that your pain has a neurologic origin. And after having a good physical examination and interrogatory, a medical treatment and physical therapy can be offered to you.
