The clinic did a bit of a hard sell, and the sales person over-promised what the treatment would do, and played down the potential for problems. The bruising after my lower abdomen was treated was absolutely shocking, and extended way beyond the boundaries of the treated area. The bruises were really deep, and lasted for several weeks. I sent them some pictures and said I was concerned, so they posted me a tube of arnica cream. I ended up having multiple treatments to the value of over £2k, and even then the results were at best mediocre. I was told that the results would be permanent as long as I kept up a healthy lifestyle. I have done that, and I have not put on any weight, but now, two years later, it is as if I had never had the treatment at all. I'm back to where I was before I started. I do not recommend coolsculpting, and if I had known at the outset what I know now, I would not have chosen this procedure.
I was sold on the photos and testimonials but ended up with zero results. In fact, something did happen, I got a fat back!! Can you believe it? Really annoyed with myself for believing the hype and marketing material. Having previously owned a Slendertone device, I can honestly say it felt exactly the same. In fact, the Slendertone has more settings and can go stronger. Total waste of money, better spent perhaps doing one of those meal services that control your diet, whilst doing some good old fashioned exercise. Btw- I’m slim, 5.3 and 50kg.
