AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I booked the lip blushing service as my lips were naturally fairly light. I got two sessions and could not be happier with results. They have so much more tone but still look natural. The spot is so cute and such a girl power vibe. I cannot wait to come back!!
This is going to be one long (but very worth reading) review - so go get a beverage and some snacks, get cozy, and read on! I want to start by saying, if you JUST started your research about who to go for brows, and came across The Brow Project, you found "the one" - you can stop Googling night and day now, and book your consultation with Nicole. I'm saying all of this as someone who has had their first "eyebrow tattoo" at 14, back in 2001, and has ever since been to way too many brow "professionals" all over the world. Nicole, without a doubt, has been my best experience! Nicole was highly recommended to me by a well-known industry friend, so I didn't even blink before setting up my consultation with her. I went in with my "temporary brow tattoos" and when she took them off, her first comment was "yup, no - because your skin is oily, and because you have no brow hair, we can't just put hair strokes there - we'd need to shade it first to make it look more realistic and dimensional". I always had "just the strokes" - I even had my first tattoo be just that 90's/2000's ugly single-line brow... I was a little nervous about it but at that point, I was in a "whatever - it can't be any worse than the other people who used me as a practice board" mindset. We went ahead and booked my first appointment. Until now, I always came across people who told me "how I should do" my brows and change my looks completely - and not in a good way. They only outlined my brows and never drew a 'preview' to give me an idea of what they were going to look like. I always left the appointment unhappy. On the other hand, Nicole measured my face, outlined the brows, and then proceeded to draw the actual brows. She even let me make the minor changes (like shortening the length of the brow, raising the arch, etc) that I know would have bugged me down the road. She actually listened to me. So far, I had two shading appointments since November 2021 and one hair stroke appointment last week. I can say, this is the first time I'm not going to want to "correct" my brows before leaving my loft. Even now, during the healing process when the brows are all flaky and healing, I love them. I think I may need one more appointment as my facial skin doesn't take the ink well (this completely changes from person to person, someone may do great with just shading and one hair stroke appointment - while another may need more of each) but my brows are still healing and I will not know the final results until next month or so. With all that being said, I will never ever go to anyone else for my brows. Even if I move to another state, I will travel for my touch-ups. I had so many miserable experiences until I found Nicole, I have zero desire to go back to that misery and risk someone messing up Nicole's work. Now, the other details. The Brow Project feels like a whole new world than what's going on outside - every single detail is very well designed. Nicole's wonderful assistant Justin will greet you at the door with his beautiful smile, then he'll get you situated in the waiting room, offer you drinks and start your numbing process. Oh speaking of numbing - whatever cream Nicole is using, that stuff really works. I didn't feel a single thing on all 3 of my appointments - while any other person I worked with I'd be crying mid-way. The entire team is wonderful to work with and once my brows are all done, I'm totally booking a lip appointment with Dallas as her work is fantastic. Seriously, thank you all for all you do! You got yourself a lifetime client and I'm so happy I never have to do another search for a good permanent makeup artist. I love you all so much!!
I’ve seen Jo twice now for Procell Microchanneling and she goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your treatment. She has stellar technique and I noticed a big difference in my skin after just the first treatment. She’s very thorough to make sure she hits every spot necessary and even asks where on your face you struggle with so she can make sure to give those spots extra care. Her bedside manner is amazing and she keeps up with what’s going on in my life even though I only see her every 5-6 weeks. I highly recommend the microchanneling and Jo to be the one to do it
Nicole and her staff are the best! They make you feel welcome from the second you walk in to their studio. She makes sure you are informed and works to make your vision to come to life while making sure your brows match your face, as everyone’s is different. I have always been self conscious about my brows, but was also extremely nervous to have anyone touch them as I have seen really bad microblading, so naturally after hearing a handful of the top estheticians in Dallas say, “Go to Nicole” I knew she was who I wanted to do mine. They are perfect, and they haven’t even been touched up yet!
