I just had my Tummy tuck and lipo surgery on 3/10/2023. During the surgery Dr. Taranow found that I had a lot of scared tissue that could affect the blood flow to my belly button. He knew actually what to do. Dr. Taranow Is amazing. It's situations like this that you should make sure that the doctor is board certified. You never know what the doctor will encounter during your procedure. He takes the time to do his own consultations, he explains the procedure and what you can expect. He explains what is realistic for your body type. He is not trying to sell an unrealistic dream from a picture you saw. He doesn't try to convince you to choose him for your surgeon. He answers your questions and gives you the facts. He is calm and knowledgeable and very relatable. I did not think it was possible for me to feel good about my body at this age. But he showed me that it is possible. After having 3 kids, I feel restored, happy, more confident. I know this great doctor could not be possible without his great staff. There is not enough space to tell you how they assisted me through this process. Iris, Beatrice they are wonderful. My job was being a little difficult but they presented the requested paperwork like professionals. My results are amazing and I will try to upload pictures when my swelling goes down.

I am 1 month post op: With my experience, you can tell that Dr. Taranow genuinely cares for women/people and their experiences. He provides you the right support you need, starting with directly providing the information you need to know. He also made himself available at any time to be reached out to for further questions. His staff were very attentive and comforting as well. His hand-picked team is a great and do their due diligence to provide the proper level of care while also removing the “hospital” aspect of the procedure. Dr. Taranow and his team have a bedside manner that nestles itself between two important skills of patient care and quality. Thank you Dr. Taranow, and your team for making my experience profound and helping me be at peace with my body. Additionally, you made my mom and partner feel I was safe in your care. For those pondering to go further with the question “should I do this?”, it never hurts to start with questions and if you’re leaning toward a yes, do it for yourself. You won’t regret working with this amazing team.

Dr. Taranow is absolutely phenomenal! He is extremely professional and pays attention to every detail. I had a bbl done in 2019 in Cali Columbia my results were great but unfortunately I didn’t workout to keep them up. Over the years the projection become obnoxious due to weight gain and all of the weight I gained went straight to my butt. I I hated it! I contacted Dr. Taranow in January of this year for a virtual consultation and quote, in March I went in for an in person consultation made my appointment the same day! This may run a little long but I know from experience that this is often an emotional procedure so I want to write out my thoughts for any ladies out there who may be in a similar position. I got implants when I was 19 and while I always felt they were uncomfortable and didn't fit my body, I was scared to undergo another procedure so for years felt incredibly stuck. Over time my discomfort grew into certainty that I needed to return to my natural breasts to regain an important part of myself. Over the past month had a number of zoom consultations with different doctors. One told me removing a textured implant is difficult and could be done under local with "some pain" during the procedure (yikes), and will likely lead to deformity and sagginess, and another told me he didn't have before and afters because "after this kind of procedure people aren't usually excited to come back." Needless to say, I was spooked. Then I had a consultation with Dr. Taranow, who I chose because of his amazing reviews on here. I cannot begin to express the comfort I felt during that first consultation where all my questions were answered and my worries appeased with honest feedback on what I should expect, but without sugarcoating. I left the consultation not feeling nervous but hopeful -- I just knew I was making the right decision. Leading up to the procedure I met with the Dr. again to go over all the details, and spent so much time on the phone with Beatrice at the front desk who is so wonderful (sorry for bothering you so much B)!! She and the rest of Dr. T's team made me feel so comfortable and excited for this step. Part of undergoing this procedure is coming to terms with the fact that they may not look like they did before, and I was prepared for the worst. But listen -- I am SO HAPPY! I'm so grateful to Dr. T for getting me a result better than I could have ever expected. I woke up immediately feeling better, like I could breathe. There was almost no pain at all in the recovery, and they've already fluffed up a week post. When I went back for my post-op, the Dr. agreed that everything went beyond expectations and I walked out (with flowers!) proud that I made the right decision. Do your research, and trust the reviews -- Dr. Taranow is not only incredibly skilled but he genuinely cares about his patients! I couldn't be happier!
