Thank you for your question! Some burning and tingling is to be expected following Mohs surgery. Sometimes it can be the result of irritation due to antibiotic ointment or adhesive from the bandage. If the burning and tingling is associated with severe pain, redness, or swelling, it could be a sign of infection and you would want to reach out to your surgeon and schedule a wound check just to be safe.

Thank you for your question. More than likely, your Mohs surgeon will apply a large pressure dressing to your surgical site that should be sufficient to minimize bleeding/bruising while you are making your way to the plastic surgeon for repair. The forehead is an area that can result in bruising that can settle under your eyes, but the risk shouldn't be any higher due to riding in a car. 

PDT will only treat actinic keratoses in the skin. It does not treat normal healthy skin cells nor tattooed skin. There can be some short term inflammatory response post PDT which may alter the appearance of your tattoos short term. The severity of the reaction depends on the amount of actinic damage and incubation time. Also, the reaction under the tattoo depends on the amount of actinic damage in the skin under the tattoo. Once the inflammation from PDT resolves, then the appearance of the tattoos should return to normal.

It usually takes 1-3 treatments and recent data suggests more than 80% respond to treatment with significant improvement. We usually recommend treatments every 2-4 weeks.

Coolsculpting would be an option and I think you would be happy with several sessions.  Each session will give you a 20% reduction in fat and we always recommend each area treated twice.  The reason Coolsculpting would be an excellent choice is because it will eliminate the risks associated with surgery.  The con with treating several sessions is the cost will be high but I do believe you could get results.  I recommend browsing the before and after photos to have a realistic expectation of what to expect from the treatment.
