I started my nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit and with a little Emergency Room experience. Years and degrees later, I knew that I wanted to submerge myself in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. I was introduced to the field early in life as I traveled through the breast cancer journey with my mom (twice actually). I love both the surgical and non-surgical components of the job. I feel at home making patients look and feel great, both cosmetically and medically. It has been a personal goal to establish and grow a Medical Spa for Springfield Clinic. Personally, I am married with 3 little children. When I am not at work I can be found hanging out with my "littles" enjoying a good movie or playing outside. I have been a nurse since 2001. My passion for making people feel and look their best guided me to obtain a license as an Esthetician in 2010. Since then, I have worked in various Medical Spa settings in the Springfield area. I love the relationships I get to build with my patients. I am always available to answer questions or discuss all the new and exciting innovations of the cosmetic world!
My nursing background has primarily been with surgical patients. I started my medical spa journey with Joel Wietfeldt, MD and Aubrie Hubbert, APRN in April 2019. My primary focus is CoolSculpting. My goal is to make you comfortable and feel like an old friend when you walk through our doors. I look forward to seeing you!
I started my nursing career in the hospital recovering surgical patients (plastics/ENT/Gyne) for 5 years. I then worked in ENT and Allergy for 12 years. Since 2012, I have worked alongside Dr.Wietfeldt in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as his nurse. I have two adorable girls. I love a good trivia game and baking.
I have worked at Springfield Clinic Center for Plastic Surgery for several years. It is my first job in the medical field and I love learning about all the different cosmetic procedures. When I am not at work, I really enjoy going to concerts, mostly country, but I listen to all types of music (minus rap!).
