I had the Skinmedica Vitalize Peel! I have never had a peel before but I'm trying to beautify my skin before my wedding in 3 months. It was a little uncomfortable when the peeling solution was applied to my face, a little burning but the esthetician fanned my face as she applied it. It was very tolerable! Afterwards my appointment my skin was yellow for the rest of the day but I could return to work that day. I had the peel on a Wednesday and that was perfect because the peeling started on Saturday. I peeled for a week but the worst was probably on Sunday. I didn't pull any skin off as it was peeling and when it came off, my skin looked pinkish but my 11's were so much lighter! I think with continued use it will get even better! Updated on 27 Mar 2021: I had another Skinmedica Vitalize Peel and the results are better than before! If you’re going to try this peel, you definitely need a series to see an improvement. I had the peel on Monday and I didn’t feel the heat of the solution reacting with my skin as much this time. I was hoping I’d still peel alot! I think the amount of peeling is a little less than last time but still quite a bit. I started peeling a small amount on Thursday. Friday is when my entire face started the peeling process. It’s Saturday today and my face is still peeling but I think it may be done by tomorrow! It’s so much easier to deal with this time! I think the first one just had so much skin to slough off since I’d never had a peel before. My lines are diminishing and my pores are appearing smaller. My skin is looking so much healthier! These pictures are after my first peel and after my 2nd peel. You can really see the difference the 2nd peel made in the appearance of my skin! I will be doing a third peel the first week in May, a little of 2 weeks before my wedding so my skin will be healed and glowing! You have to try this!
