Dr Saami is double board-certified cosmetic dermatologist specializing in minimally invasive cosmetic procedures and cosmetic surgery with specialized training in dermatologic surgery, facial plastics, and a deep scientific background in cutaneous immunology, clinical trials, and curricular development. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins and completed his dermatology residency at Harvard. His medical practice, SOM Aesthetics, provides luxury cosmetic dermatology services to patients, and also is a clinical research facility and training academy for other providers. He serves as the Medical Director for Allergan Medical Institute. He is also a clinical investigator, consultant, trainer, and speaker for Allergan, Galderma, and Merz, amongst others. His basic and translational research focus is on cutaneous immunology, previously to minimize immunosuppression for hand and face transplants, and now with a focus on clinical trials for injectable fillers, toxins, and energy-based devices.
