Jury still out for Morpheus8 - 2.5 weeks later neck has healed so much

I had Morpheus8 on my face and neck for the first time on 8/18. Numbing cream was applied and I was given nitrous oxide to use, if needed. The NO made ALL the difference in being able to tolerate it. The discomfort was much more than I expected. They went over my neck about three times with varying depths and twice on my face. When they were done with my face, they touched up places on my neck since that is where I was hoping to see the most improvement. They also said they were trying to get to 1800 pulses for the session. I only had mild redness immediately following the treatment. My issues started Saturday morning when my neck looked burned and was very bumpy everywhere that had been zapped. It itched horribly. I thankfully did not have the same reaction on my face. I applied topical creams and ice to the rash to get the itching to stop and hopefully calm down. On Sunday, I sent the spa an email with a pic. They replied on Monday despite being closed and said the rash was normal especially on the neck and that it could take 2 to 4 weeks for it to heal. They suggested using Cortizone or Benadryl cream to help the itching. A week and two days later, I’m happy to report that my neck has healed SO much. There are still some small bumps right down the center, but I expect those to fade in the next couple days. I still have some minor itching occasionally, but nothing big. My next treatment is Oct. 12. I may ask them to back off and only do two passes on my neck to try and avoid the same reaction. I have to admit I was pretty freaked out for a few days. I was wondering if I had done permanent damage. Happy to report things seem to be getting back to normal. Just would have liked to known that this type of reaction was possible. Did not expect to have to cover my neck in summer weather for a week. The jury is still out on whether I see the benefits from the treatment that I am hoping for.
