It’s common to have lumps and bumps a couple weeks post filler injection. Since your injector used the blunt tip cannula technique it’s safe to say that they didn’t inject into a vessel. I suggest to continue monitoring it and return to your injector for a follow up or for worsening symptoms.
There should be no problem using sunscreen prior to filler injection. Your injector should cleanse the area well to reduce prior to injection. Generally you may apply sunscreen and or makeup shortly after your fillers. I typically tell my patients to wait about 30-45 minutes.
There are a few options here to address this area. You can have Voluma to the mid face to soften the nasolabial folds, you can also use Juvederm ultra or ultra + or Vollure. I suggest you do your research and find the provider who can help reach your aesthetic goals.
Best of luck.
Hi nagz62,
Thank you for your posting and picture. Everyone has some asymmetry. If it is a concern of yours then fillers may help reach your aesthetic goals.
Best of luck
Hi trevordaily,
Generally Botox is injected into three on label areas of the face; the Glabellar region, Crow's feet and Frontalis muscle. If you are experiencing volume loss in your cheeks and under eyes it may be due to weight loss or the natural aging process. I would consult with your provider to a focused assessment to address your concerns.
Best of luck
