I have been struggling with urinary incontinence since I had my daughter 3 years ago. A year after she was born I finally went to a pelvic floor therapist and began pelvic floor therapy which I did for almost 2 years. This did help but I was still needing to wear pads every day and just kept plateauing. I suffer from both stress and urge incontinence. I had a surgical consult and was told I qualified however I really wanted to avoid surgery - especially since it can often make problems worse. They fit me for a pessary which did nothing. A friend of a friend told me about Amanda and how helpful she was. I was at the point where I would have tried anything! After just one appointment with Amanda I could start to tell a difference. I have now completed all three treatments and am a new woman! I no longer needs to wear pads every day - finally! I did not do any pelvic floor exercises during my Votiva treatments because I wanted to be able to tell if it helped. It was all Votiva!! I am happy to have the pelvic floor exercises now too so I can keep up my strength but I am a total Votiva believer. I can go to the beach now in a bathing suit without having to worry about incontinent episodes. I can do the dishes without having to run to the bathroom because of the running water. It is LIFE CHANGING. I am not able to run or ride horses yet without having some stress incontinence but from where I was I am so happy with the results. My pelvic floor therapist told me I was a particularly bad case and I am just so fortunate now to be able to do daily life without a pad. Well worth the money! I thought it was going to be awkward but Amanda is so caring and professional. Highly recommend!!

Overall, a great experience! The provider was friendly, confident, knowledgeable, and thorough when it came to describing the procedure and forming a treatment plan. She listened to my goals and checked-in with me throughout the process. I am so happy with my results -- instead of over-treating (like some places tend to do), I achieved my vision of a natural look. Will definitely see her again for any injection needs!

Votiva was worth every penny! I recently completed my third Votiva treatment with Amanda at Seaside Family Medicine, and I wanted to share my positive experience. As an active mother of 4 young children, I was concerned with a small amount of urinary incontinence. I did everything I could at home to improve my physical fitness and pelvic floor strength, but I wasn’t able to achieve the results that I was looking for. The office is both quiet and peaceful, with a friendly staff. Amanda was very knowledgeable about Votiva and helpful in providing information prior to my treatments. The treatments were painless, fast, and had no “downtime”. My results were tremendous! I could feel an enormous improvement immediately following my first treatment. All of my issues with urinary incontinence disappeared. It was like turning back a clock. My pelvic floor was noticeably stronger, incredibly tighter, and more toned. Even my skin returned to a more baby pink shade! Investing in the Votiva treatments really helped boost my confidence, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my results. This procedure was worth every penny!

I was so skeptical at first, but I had amazing results after just my first treatment. I have had three babies so of course I leak a little urine every time I sneeze, cough, laugh, or exert myself at the gym. I did not experience any stress urinary incontinence for over a year, then I used my second treatment as a “touchup.” I also opted to receive the external micro-needling on my first treatment, because I had some excess bothersome tissue on my labia minora. I was shocked that the whole terrain actually changed, and my husband was quite disturbed that I looked and felt “a bit like a stranger down there.” Ha!
