I have some brown patches and fine lines I wanted to improve. Halo was suggested. I was numbed for an hour, then bbl was performed. The procedure took awhile, as the nurse measured my face, put settings into computer, then started. She does the procedure in sections on the face. It w a new painful until she was almost done, and my face had the most intense firey feeling that I have ever expwrienced. I had a chiller hose to help, but when you remove, we'll I couldn't deal! It took about 1.5 hrs. for pain to go away. Very little swelling last night (day of procedure), but this morning, I was a cabbage patch kid. My eyes arealself SUPER SUPER swollen. I sent pic to nurse and she said that it was normal. However, I couldn't handle it, so I went to regular doctor to get shot and presidone. Will update as cabbage patch kid face goes down! I hope this crap is worth it! Updated on 6 May 2017: Swelling worse! Updated on 7 May 2017: The Mends or "crusties" came off today. I used a washcloth and tried to get them off. Face is still red, a little raw and dry. I'm still swollen, but the improvement from yesterday am (day 3) to 5pm day 4 was dramatic, thank you, as I have work tomorrow. Fine line improvement ...can't tell yet, as I'm still swollen...will keep updating, as I like to be able to see other people's procedures almost day by day. Updated on 8 May 2017: Swelling almost gone today...less redness on face in general. My skin is flaking around mouth and chin still. These aren't THE MENDS, as they came off day three like shedding gator skin. Boy, is it fun for those to come off. They feel so gross! So from Thursday to Monday, I would say I'm mostly healed. Ya'll, the swelling is rough day 2 and 3. I mean rough. Looking at my skin today though, brown is like gone gone! I'm still a little red and didn't have freckles before, just some brown hyperpigmenation under eyes, but it's not there. Pic shows me today at 4pm. I have NO MAKEUP on, concealer or nothing, just mascara on upper lids. I'm still slightly swollen, around jowls area and eyes, so I'll update if lines are any better, as swelling kind of "masks" them. I really would question whether to do this procedure again though. The pain not so bad, the swelling, ugh! It's more of a 2 time procedure from what I've read though, nothe like a 4 to 6 series type. I asked nurse, why 2? She told me that for people with really deep, and deep brown pigmentation, the 1st treatment brings deep to surface, and the second takes that stuff away! Bam! Updated on 9 May 2017: Hi guys..the swelling is almost completely gone. The fine lines look the same, but I've read the "results" for that part of it take 12 weeks. I'm looking in C02 fractional in 6 weeks for that, as I have NO patience! BUT---if you're treating brown pigment or left over red "marks" from acne a few weeks ago, DO IT! Acne isn't really my problem. I have had"nutritional deficiencies" or eating problems for a long time; I'm almost 30 & I think the fat loss/ collagen loss on my skin is catching up with me, as there's nothing to hold up the skin anymore. I run/ lift weights INSIDE, had have very little sun throughout my life (did ballet when young), I use botox, do peels, Retionol, good skincare, Sunscreen, etc. I do drink vodka with light lemonade most nights, but that's it; never smoked! However, if you rob your body of nutrition long enough, the "thin" skin never really thicken again. It doesn't really "bounce" back. However, if you want this for brown pigmentation/ red acne marks, OH MY GOSH, my skin has never looked so good, PIGMENT wise! SEE PICS BELOW. ALSO, I only take reverse selfies for REALSELF, so my face shape is distorted most of the time-- SHAPE wise. The reason that I do this is that selfies "smooth" out wrinkles & give better lighting. Do you want to see your "REAL" face, act like you are taking a regular pic and snap. You can't see the picture as you are snaping, but you get the REAL texture! Updated on 11 May 2017: Hey guys! I wanted to provide an update on my Halo Pro Treatment one week out. Swelling & redness are gone. My skin is absolutely clear; I've worn nothing but eyeshadow, top eyeliner & mascara the last 3 days. I haven't used a spot treatment for concealer. THAT IS IMPRESSIVE! After reading reviews/ doctor's "promostions" on Realself BEFORE the treatment, I had the impression that pigment was the main "problem" Halo treated. I don't like fine lines UNDER eyes that Botox can't treat & lines around mouth. What I am floored by at this point is what it helped w/ under-eye crepiness. This "treatment" is not touted for crepiness, so to speak. I've had Rf microneedling, TCA peels, use good skin care etc. Nothing has really helped and I have had MULTIPLE treatments & series of the previously mentioned. The results from this ONE treatment are impressive even for fine lines. I really had low expectations for the fine lines part of it. I would say that 2 days ago, I wouldn't have agreed do another HALO Pro because of the extensive swelling I had. However, just 1 week out of the treatment, I am really really impressed! From what I've read, 2 treatments are optimal. The treatment is expensive, but I'm considering another in 6 weeks, like really considering. I NEVER thought I would say that. If you look back at my swelling, it was NOT good! But it was all SO worth it. Word of advice: DON'T go for a "light" treatment! An aggressive treatment with HALO will not hurt you like a deep CO2 (redness-wise) or even the slightly more conservative Erbium Ablative resurfacing. The "ablative" part of the treatment, with the "crusties," was DONE by day 3! I had another doctor who "tried" the Halo & didn't buy the laser for her facility. She talked very badly about it & said that you stay red for weeks. No guys! See pics from today. I probably won't be posting much more on this, as I think I am healed. If I have no more improvement over the next few weeks, as some docs on here suggest--optimally at 12 weeks, I don't care. I'm still impressed and loving the HALO PRO! Updated on 20 May 2017: I wanted to give an update. After 9 days, my skin was perfect, day 10...6 whole days after resuming my normal skin care, I started to break out. I've NEVER had acne hardly at all and my face looks horrible! It's the laser! Updated on 22 Jun 2017: Hi, I wanted to give everyone an update on my Halo. After breaking out about 2.5 weeks after Halo, my skin eventually cleared up after Aczone, Solodyn (acne antibiotic) & a Sulfur-based acne facewash (all expensive & prescription). AGH! I suggest asking for an Anti-viral, reg antibiotic, and acne antiobiotic to begin BEFORE/AFTER the treatment to prevent post acne. I've never had acne; however, when you swell, as I've researched, your pores "close." When you deflate back to normal, your skin goes into oil production overdrive. NO FUN! Overall though, prepare for swelling if you have an aggressive treatment & post breakout, even if you've never had one in your life! Updated on 1 Aug 2017: I'm still breaking out from Halo. It has changed my skin and now I'm going on accutane. COOL!, NOT! Updated on 29 Jun 2018: Here is my face 7 weeks after Accutane. I have no makeup on. Updated on 29 Jun 2018: Updated on 29 Jun 2018: 7 weeks post Accutane
My outcome was 100x better than I expected, I'm soo in love with my new breast.. not only did the doctor do an extraordinary job but the workers and nurses were extremely caring and took the best care of me. My scars are practically gone already & my breast recovered perfectly. So yes you can say I was beyond satisfied, Salzman Cosmetic Surgery and Spa goes above and beyond to make sure their patients are cared for and satisfied. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I'll be going back for different procedures!
I have had tummy fat for years that I hated. I hated how I looked in swim suits, I just wanted it to be flat. Dr Salzman said I would be a great candidate for the Liteshape Lipo. The area I was concerned with wan't a large area of fat but just enough to really annoy me. After the procedure I was back to work the very next day and experienced very, very little pain or discomfort. My abdomen felt a little bruised but that's all. After two weeks I was back to regular exercise and almost no pain. After about a month I could really tell the difference in how much flatter my tummy was. I had friends compliment me on my "tiny waist" and my weight loss and they had no idea I had a procedure done. I had a great experience and recovery and love Dr Salzman and his staff!! I also get my Botox and fillers and facials done there and will not be going anywhere else for my cosmetic treatments. I highly reccommend the Salzman Cosmetic Surgery and Spa center, great experience!
