I received multiple, bad burns from receiving a Picosure tattoo removal treatment. I'm not sure if it was instrument or tech error but I believe it to be a combination of both. They are now claiming the burns I received are "completely normal". They say they spoke with the manufacturer and the manufacturer said they did nothing wrong and burned skin is a normal result of tattoo removal with the Picosure. Most of the burns I received were in areas there was little to no ink. Mostly no ink. I had a simple, over 30 year old, thin line tattoo. Outline only, nothing was filled in. Very faded and incomplete tattoo. The simplest and easiest to remove. I walked away with many severe burns. A few appear to be all the way through the skin. The worst were where there was the smallest amount or no ink. Two weeks later and I am pretty far from being healed and it looks likely I'll have scarring. I asked for a complete refund. And they refused to refund me for the laser treatment that caused the burns. The Saltz Spa has been unpleasant to deal with. And I am completely baffled by their behavior. I am now afraid of lasers and don't think I'll ever trust one again. Please be sure to check out the photo's of what The Salz Medical Spa considers "completely normal" and what they claim the Picosure manufacturer is claiming is normal. I would have never allowed them to use a PicoSure if I had known this was a possible outcome. If this is normal then everyone should know so they can avoid it.
