Aviclear Review for Hormonal Acne

I've waited a few months to write this review. I have PCOS and get deep, painful cystic acne around my cycle once a month. My skin was never covered with acne, but without fail, once per month I would breakout. The cysts I would get were the size of pencil erasers and would shift my smile they were so swollen. I envied people who would get a 'zit'. At 37 I was done with hiding myself once a month , crying over my skin and worrying about scheduling social events if I was going to get one of these cysts. Birth control wasn't an option for me anymore (which worked beautifully for me but the side effects became too much), and I was afraid of accutane. I went to Rejuvaderm in Edmonton as they were one of a few that offered the treatment. I paid $4000 for 3 treatments. It has been 2 cycles since my last treatment and I can confidently say that I am 100% satisfied with the treatments. I have not had one deep cyst since finishing. I have had a few small white heads that go away in 2 days. To wake up and not have to think about my skin as a factor in my day is indescribable. I highly recommend asking your technician to hold the piece on your skin to numb it for 5-10 seconds prior to zapping. When this was done my pain was maybe a 2. if not it was a good 7-8. I'm very grateful for a non-medical option to help me. If you have skin like mine and are desperate, I would not hesitate. it has been absolutely worth it for me. I scoured these boards for reviews so if you have questions, please reach out.I received compensation from Cutera in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
