Prestige Med - San Ramon

The SmartSkin Co2 is a great procedure, for me I'll require two more six months apart. All the doctor's on real self are right co2 is the gold standard. In addition to SmartSkin co2, I'll have some type of 1540 or Fraxel Dual. Most importantly it is safe for my skin type III.

Please do not go to Prestige Med. Dr. Mardanzai! is not trained in plastic surgery or dermatology. He is an INTERNIST!! He just realized this is where the money is and he’s cutting corners to make as much money as possible. After injecting Volumna all over my face in all the wrong spots, including my nose and my lips, and the apples or my already full cheeks my face swelled like crazy. He did it so shallow it migrated to under my eyes as well causing major bags that I never had before. He gave me crazy duck lips as well. I told him I wanted a tiny bit to lift my face and wanted to look natural. I didn’t even want my lips. But he kept pushing and saying it would look “moist”not filled. What a mess. I went in once to have some dissolved and fixed but it was still so bad so I called and emailed twice and they completely ignored me. So I went to my dermatologist and had to pay $400 to get this dissolved. My derm was shocked at how bad it was, especially my lips. He said Volumna should not be injected in lips and definitely not in the nose. Dr. Mardanzai gave me a total pointy witch nose! Do not go here! Especially because he is now charging the same, if not more than true professionals at this point. He was once the Groupon king. Which should be the first red flag. What a hack.

I've been getting injections since my late 20's and I am now 40. I know the process fairly well. Sad to say, I've gone to prestige twice now and both times have been more than disatisfied! I first went for a Botox special (silly me), and I know for a fact that I did not recieve the full amount of units I paid for or else they dilute their Botox! This is based on my prior and latter experiences with getting the same amount from my regular Doctor. There is absolutely no way I was injected with 60 units as after the waiting period, I still have several wrinkles which never happens when I go to my regular Doctor! Then my most recent experience was even worse! I completely forgot it was the same company and booked a special they had for Xenomin. Oh boy! I saw my regular doctor shortly after, shared what areas I recieved the Xenomin and he even stated that something was not right and advised me to contact them. So I attempted to do just that and was treated so poorly! After going rounds with receptionist, I decided not to have a follow-up as at that point I did not feel safe in doing so and just wrote it off! I have been meaning to share my experiences for sometime now and just finally got around to doing so. Bottom line, Stay Away! You get what you pay for which is why they are constantly having "specials" and if you have an established Doctor that you trust and does a great job, why cheat...lol! But seriously, I DO NOT RECOMMEND PRESTIGE MED to anyone! I was thrown off by the good reviews they had/may still have but I advise all to steer clear! The specials maybe tempting but as I stated, you get what you pay for! Good luck and happy no wrinkles! The pics below are 10 days after treatment, 3 areas of Xenomin! Bogus! Updated on 5 Dec 2018: Just a heads up, the doctors name who gave me my injections is Joseph Mardanzai, MD. I believe he is the only doctor at Prestige but I am not 100 percent certain so just in case....beware of Joseph Mardanzai, MD/Prestiges Meds "specials" and remember, you get what you pay for!
