Office review: Needed to change my breast implants and my insurance covers the removal

don’t really know where to start. These were the worst from the very start. I needed to change my breast implants and my insurance covers the removal but not the new implants. The first very rude person I had to deal was Vanessa. During a phone call, I was trying to explain that I had spoken with the insurance and they told me they approved my first visit with the surgeon. Instead of listening to what I had to say, she kept yelling over and over ”YOU ARE WRONG, YOU ARE WRONG!” I was shocked, little did I know this was just the beginning. After I had my MRI to see if the implants were leaking, I waited patiently for them to call me to find out. After a week from the day they received the results I started calling to speck with a nurse and find out myself. All my messages were ignored, so I called my insurance to intervene, and a nurse finally called me back with the results. After that, I needed to find out the next step. Again I had to get the insurance involved. The agent stayed on the line and was appalled by the way I was talked to. Even though nobody ever called me about the next step, the receptionist kept talking over me, saying “we talked about this” over and over!!!! Looks like it is a phrase they like to use a lot, but even if “we had talked about this” I am the patient, and if I have a question, you answer! But the rudeness was not the only issue. Now, since my insurance was going to pay for the removal, logically, you would think the surgery would cost less, right? Lol Oh no.Now, if you google or, or you had it done, you know that the breasts implants exchange is around 8K, I had it done 2 years ago (yes I’m unlucky”, and it was 8KThey came out with a quote of $9,100 WITH A 2 night stay in the hospital, which one of them was going to be paid by my insurance. THEY ACTUALLY QUOTED ME MORE NOT LESS! In which universe when I surgery if covered around a quarter of the cost by insurance is going to cost more???STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE! The rudeness of the receptionist and Vanessa are inexcusable. Plus they NEVER gave me the option of doing the esthetic only surgery! Maybe it would have been cheaper than involving the insurance! Absolutely no care, respect or willingness to inform the patient about options.
