It took me about 3 years of struggling with my abnormal growing chest and going back and forth in my head as to whether or not this was something I really needed to get done. I have to say that I am truly thankful for having found Dr. Kayastha and his team. It has been 3 months since my breast reduction and I am extremely pleased with the results. I have to say it feels good to just be able to take my shirt off at the beach or even walk around shirtless at home. I internalized a lot of shame during the last few years and that’s not a healthy thing do; specifically when it can be easily fixed. Thankfully, I’m starting to feel more like my confident self now that had that gynecomastia issue removed. From the bottom of my heart Dr. Kayastha and Team thank so much.
Loosing over 100 lbs and breastfeeding 2 children left me with very saggy breasts. Having any elective surgery is a very personal decision. I fantasized about and researched the idea of a breast lift for years before deciding to move forward with a consultation. I learned of Dr. Kay from a colleague that had recently had a breast reduction performed by Dr Kay. I made an appointment and was excited to move forward after my consultation. Dr. Kay and his team are nothing short of amazing! From the beginning, he made me feel very comfortable, providing answers to all of my questions. I absolutely love my results. I have not gone bra-less in over 30 years! I love the new choices of shirts, blouses and formal wear that are now an option for me. I have absolutely no regrets. I must add, I was mostly shocked by my husband’s response. He was not bothered by my saggy breast, but is super excited about my new perky breasts. He’s noticed a shift in my new confidence and loves the new wardrobe choices.
Had a lower body lift done by Dr Kayastha (K Plastic Surgery) who came recommended by ellis barriatric. Pleasantly surprised that the pain I endured was so minimal and at 2 weeks post I feel wonderful already. I must admit after reading so much from others on Real self I expected it to be worse than it was. I had taken 1 pain pill 2 times when I got home and that was it. I used a freshette female urinal ($25 on amazon.com) which was a life saver as my only time of being uncomfortable was getting up and down. Once up I was walking with ease and i just took it slow and easy getting down. Dr. K was a wonderful caring Dr who has a wonderful bedside manner. He is there for answering my questions and came to see me early the day i got released. He took the time to discuss with me the entire procedure and what could possibly go wrong and put me very much at ease. I still have more surgery to be done to take care of my inner thighs which is the whole reason I went to see a PS. He explained that in my situation I have so much excess flesh and fat and cellulite throughout my legs from the knee to the thighs all the way around that doing a 2 step process would give me the best results as I needed to be "debulked" prior to doing the inner thighs. I will be doing the medial thigh lift in a few months once I am all healed and Dr K feels I am ready to continue on my journey. I have to say that I have waited 16 long yrs since I had a gastric bypass and went from 296 to 156 (140 lb loss) to do this much needed surgery. I had a tummy tuck 1 yr post as I had no choice but to do that with all that excess fat and skin hanging so far down you couldn't even see my female parts!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for the rest of my transformation to get done and I am looking so forward to it in the hopes of that surgery going so well as this one has been going as far as pain and recovery goes. As far as the full future results at this time I can't really be sure as I am still very sore and bruised and swollen from the leg lipo that is really hard to say how happy I really am yet. I must say I do see a difference that is for sure but I am hoping in a few months its more than what I see now in my only 2 weeks post surgery. I also want to thank all who did blogs and it let people like me who were going to do surgery a real look at what gets done and what can happen and all the comments and encouragement was very much appreciated. Updated on 13 Mar 2015: I am doing fine all is healing very nicely. Now working on phase 2. Vertical thigh lift and out thigh revision. Will post those in another port.
