A: Fortunately yes ! pre-op testing involves regular lab-work and other routine tests and insurance does cover these
A: yes, with a tummy tuck skin is removed between belly button and pubic hair and along with it all the stretch marks in that area. The marks that you have a ove the belly button may or may not be able to be removed depending on how higher up your extra skin goes . Even if these marks remain , remember they will now be at a much lower location on your new body ( near your pubic area) . Typically abdominoplasty scar is below the c-section scar and the old scar is removed . You should do the surgery after you have lost the extra weight . Good luck !
A: breast reduction is most commonly done with a pedicle technique, in which the blood and nerve supply to the nipple is maintained on a column of breast tissue called Pedicle while surrounding tissue is removed. This maintains the sensation of the nipple. Free nipple graft technique is rarely performed and only when the breasts are extremely large .
I suggest you seek consultation from at least two or three Board certified plastic surgeons and talk specifically to them about their technique
Good luck!
A: hmmm, were you told by your obstetrician you have a lot of scar tissue ? they are usually then referring to internal scarring around the uterus from the 3 sections.
Tummy tuck is a surgery that is limited to superficial to the abdominal wall. After 3 C-sections I suspect you also have external scarring and overhang of skin. This is a the area that is improved by a tummy tuck.
Liposuction and tummy tuck will not have any effect on internal scarring and vice versa. However, if you are planning on having more kids you should wait to get the tummy tuck till after childbearing is complete.
Good Luck !
A: that's a great question , there are different options for treatment of the under eye area, you can either get a synthetic filler ( comes pre filled in a syringe ) or you can do fat transfer, fat first has to be harvested from your body and then injected with a tiny blunt cannula. There are pros and cons to both . With fat transfer - procedure takes longer , fat has to be overfilled (so more swelling) and there is more downtime but ofcourse the results also last longer. Good luck !
