I had the best experience getting Botox with Nurse Gigi... injections are flawless, bedside manner- second to none, and I will only be going to her from here on out for all treatments. She followed up within two weeks to ensure I was happy with my results, and offered to go back in for a follow up if not!
This was my first Botox and it was a horrendous experience to the point of causing depression. I asked nurse Gigi to do my eyebrows and a little bit crows feet. I did it right before my 35th birthday. First of all, since it was my first Botox she didn’t warn me that Botox takes effect gradually and you might look funny for 2 weeks because muscles get paralysed gradually. So I was freaking out during those two weeks BIG time while being on the cruise in the ocean. Second, I experienced EXTREMELY tight skin on my forehead and HEAVY feeling like someone pulled my scalp. That feeling is excruciating. And lastly, both of my eyebrows DROOPED with my right eyebrow dropping more severely. It changed my beautiful open eyes and my beautiful naturally arched brows to flat droopy eyebrows and eyes. Also I developed deep lines in between my eyebrows even at rest which I didn’t have before. I couldn’t recognize myself in the mirror and worst of all my birthday was ruined. I felt depressed and disfigured and the tightness and heaviness in my face was killing me. I came back to her and she apologized letting me know that I reacted more strongly to Botox than she thought I would. She did correction for free. In 2-3 weeks not much has changed and I reached out to her again. She did correction again. But I still had prominent deep lines in between my eyebrows AT REST which I didn’t have before. At this point I decided not to come back anymore for correction and let it naturally wear out. Since so much Botox was done near my eyebrows I started to lose a lot of hair in them - see pictures. I naturally have super bushy and beautiful arched eyebrows and now they are flat, thinned and spotty. I can’t imagine if someone had poor eyebrows to begin with. It used to take me 15 seconds to do my eyebrow makeup and now it takes 10 minutes and they still look messed up. I still have deep wrinkles in between my eyebrows even at rest which I didn’t have. My question is if I react so strongly to Botox why 3 injections in the muscle between my eyebrows didn’t work? To me It seems like nurse Gigi just really messed up my face by placing injections incorrectly. Crows feet. I asked her to soften the wrinkles on my crows feet and what I now have is deep shallow hollows under my eyes and also swelling and water retention which I also didn’t have before the injections. My eyes look tired and older. I had zero hollows under my eyes before the injections. It’s just terrible. So while she admitted that she gave me too much Botox and offered corrections for free which I appreciate, it was hard to correct what has been done. As I said, my eyebrows are thinner, droopy and spotty, I have hollows under my eyes and water retention under my eyes like I’m a drinker. Since Botox starting to wear off I’m starting to look funny as well - the problem areas look worse than before Botox due to exaggeration since some muscles are still paralyzed. Two little deep wrinkles now exaggerated even at rest. Needless to say, this was an emotionally draining experience and it was triggering depression. I’m so happy that Botox is wearing off now and I’m so glad to see my wrinkles back and look like myself. I will now think a million times before doing anything else to my face. Not once nurse Gigi or anyone from her office reached out to check on me. I do not recommend this provider.
