I had surgery with Dr. Alvarez on 7/24/25. My experience from beginning to end was so seamless. No lengthy wait times. I was in & out on pre-op day, surgery day, & post op follow up.. His coordinators are so nice and comforting. Im 2 weeks post op & his team has called multiple times a week to check in on me & answer any questions that I may have had. Not to mention the results are RESULTING!!!!!!!!!!! That man is THE GOD OF LIPO!!!!! Im so obsessed. I can’t say I will be back because I don’t want to go through that again lol, but if I needed a reason, i’d choose this clinic & doctor again & again. Thank you so much Dr. Alvarez & Staff.

I had a drain less tummy tuck procedure done with Dr. Chavez and I have to say, she’s amazing. I’m extremely happy with my results, I’m only 2 weeks post op and I look amazing and recovery was quick and smooth sailing.I was walking straight by day 3 and off pain meds by day 2. I paid my deposit & received my it's official email! My BBL is scheduled for 1/31/20 at Mia Aesthetics and I chose Dr Fasusi. Shortly after I paid my deposit "Maria" emailed my contract & medical questionnaire. I now have a concierge who has been giving me all the details, do & don'ts, she sent me a list of items to buy as well. Updated on 29 Dec 2019: My recovery home is booked!! I chose "Body By Maggie" recovery home. I found this home on instagram. Her place looks so clean, the food looks good, everything looked amazing so I gave Maggie a call. She was so sweet and welcoming. I knew right away that I wanted to stay w/her. $180/night and there are a lot of things included. I'm only staying 3 days (my surgery date 1/31 & 2 more days). My mom will be staying in Florida so after the critical days are past I'm going to have her take over for the remainder of my stay. Maggie will be picking me up from surgery and I'll keep you guys posted on my stay Updated on 14 Jan 2020: Today was my 2nd appointment for my medical clearance. My first was lab work which came back good, my iron was a little low so I picked up some iron pills. Today I found out my BMI is 28, which is good because it needs to be a 34 or lower! :) My doctor said I'm healthy and ok for surgery so now I'm waiting on Mia Aesthetics to call me. I'm going to try to post a video of the things I got at Walmart today that I'm going to need for after surgery. Updated on 24 Jan 2020: The last couple weeks have been so stressful. Long story short I was under the impression that I was cleared because my pcp said so and my labs were good. I sent my results to mia aesthetics and they required me to do MORE testing (ct-scan) that my pcp was saying wasn’t necessary. Which meant I would have to pay out of pocket (400$) for it! Not to mention I still had to book my flight, and pay for the rest of my surgery/recovery home. I was so hurt. I spoke with the lab coordinator at mia and she was very short, rude, and not empathetic at all. Every time I talked with one of them about a concern they werent very nice. I had to do a lot of running around due to them requiring short notice tests. I’m very healthy and my doctor was willing to vouch that. So! I prayed on all this and a new life plastic surgery consultant reached out to me. (Where I wanted to go to begin with) at Dr dowbacks office and was very understanding, she listened, she helped all in 24 hours and was able to get me booked with Dr Simmons (2 time board certified surgeon) on the exact date I was going to mia! Nothing changed, I didn’t have to pay much more and my surgery is still on the 31st! Updated on 24 Jan 2020: I will be leaving for Miami in 5 more days!! I’m so glad I switched offices. Ladies it’s so important to not stress during all this. Mia stressed me the hell out and when I made them aware of it they didn’t give af. My new coordinator “Mindy” has been making everything so easy for me. She sends me everything through text and has been a life saver. Next time I post it will be in MIAMI!!! Updated on 12 Feb 2020: Man it was a long and scary road I went down but it's over. Here I am 5 days post op. I went to Oliver Simmons at new life. I'm very swollen here still and I have on my faja. I asked him for a booty that fits my body not huge but to focus more on my shape. I wanted curves and a hour glass shape which I will post next. He gave me exactly what I asked for. I had my surgery on 1/31 and sorry to scare you guys but I ended up hospitalized the next day. I caught the flu the very next day and had a sepsis in my blood that almost took my life but I got to the hospital in time. I spent 2 days in Miami's hospital fighting the flu, the infection in my blood AND recovering from my bbl. Rough is a complete understatement but GOD pulled me through. The surgery was extremely painful to me the 1st 24-48 hours. After that it got easier by the day. Less and less pain and it got easier to move and do things on my own. On the plane ride back my thighs were numb asl, it was very uncomfortable sitting w/the bbl pillow but bearable. I suggest to anyone considering this surgery to prepare for it months in advance (supplements, vitamins) all the way up until the time of surgery. Updated on 15 Feb 2020: I'm still swollen but I just wanted to show you guys how my shape is turning out as the healing is going. My mid section is numb and tingling and tight. But I don't feel pain anymore unless I'm moving around too much. I can't wait til my waist goes all the way down Updated on 10 Apr 2020: A little over 2 months post op. Unfortunately we are quarantined so I can't go to the gym BUT I use CBD Tea so I'm keeping weight gain under control lbs My body still gets sore but it's looking amazing. I love my hips more than anything because I used to be straight up and down lol The most important thing after is maintaining this. It's so easy to gain weight smh Remember to work out ladies and be mindful of what you eat.

On April 25th 2019 is when I started my journey with New life. Originally I had wanted Dr Hanaberg, but the coordinator Melanie Gil told me she didn’t think he was good for me bcuz of my BMI being a 29 and he usually works on smaller girls. She recommended that i go with Dr Harry or Dr Dowbak. When I asked her who she thought was a better Dr to give me the lipo 360 without me needing a tummy tuck from the extra stomach skin I had hanging from having a baby in April 2017 she said Dr Harry bcuz he is really aggressive with the lipo. I put $500 down to secure my date for July 30th and the surgery was $4500 which the $4000 was due the day before surgery. 30 days before my surgery I started taking the vitamins they recommended and i went for my labs. They sent me an email and text about 15 days before my surgery saying i was clear to have the lipo 360 done. Prior to I had booked my flight and Airbnb with 2 of my sisters who could take care of me(download the Airbnb app I found a nice house with parking). On July 29th I flew in from NY to Miami and I had my preop appointment for 2pm but didn’t see Dr Harry until 4pm. When Dr Harry walked in he was really nice and smiled. He asked me if I was there for lipo 360 and asked me some medical questions. Then he asked to see my stomach and told me by law he can only take out 4000cc of fat, so where was my concerns at the most. I showed him the lower part of stomach and told him I hated that part of my stomach, then I showed him my back so he could see all my back rolls, then I told him my waist was the least of my worries bcuz I already had a small waist. So he said he would take the fat from there last. After talking to me he told me I needed a nurse for the first 24hrs which I didn’t agree with bcuz I had my 2 sisters. Without a nurse or being in a recovery house he will not let you have the surgery. He gave me a nurse name sese to take care of me the first day out of surgery. Sese rates was $15 an hour which was great. Sese sent me a list of everything I needed to have after surgery. I went to the nearest Walmart and got everything I needed. Also if you stay in an Airbnb make sure its a house that has a washer, dryer, a sofa, kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. You will definitely need it! The day before surgery I received a text saying my surgery was 9:30am. July 30th the day of my surgery I received a phone call saying my surgery time was changed for 1:30pm bcuz dr Harry was behind schedule. I got to the office at 1:30pm for another girl to say her surgery was with dr Harry for 1:30pm. Long story short dr Harry didn’t mark my body up until 3:30pm and then the anesthesiologist came in and started getting me together. At 4:45pm I was ready to have my surgery. Dr Harry smiled and said he was ready for me. The anesthesiologist told me in 10 seconds I would be out of it and that I was. OUT! At 7:30pm I woke up in excruciating pain. I was telling the nurse Yulissa I needed meds and she stated she couldn’t do anything for me. My sisters arrived and the took me to Walgreens for my my meds only to be told I couldn’t get the meds bcuz dr Harry didn’t put a DEA number on the prescription. I went 2hrs with no meds. And the pain was worst then giving birth. Thank god the nurse sese was able to get in touch with dr Harry for the DEA number. Once I got my meds I was good. I was able to walk a little and my blood pressure and Temperature was good. The nurse sese was definitely a plus. She was really good! My sisters told me that new life messed up called their phone saying I was ready from surgery and it wasn’t even me. That was a bit crazy! New life have to get it together. Overall DR Harry was amazing and I love my results and I’m not even a week post.

I finally did it!!!!!I will be having my BBL surgery in Miami at New life plastic surgery with Dr Dowbak .. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I been researching for almost 3 years BBL. I been watching the pros and cons videos on bbl. so I am taking all advice. Updated on 14 Nov 2019: I decided to buy a bbl supply package instead of buying each product individually. I have not been on here for soooo long! I guess I had devoted my attention to IG. Anyway, I was originally planning on going overseas to the DR for sx. After much research, I decided to stay in the US. I ended up going with Dr. Dowbak. My experience started off a little shaky....I was wondering if I made the right choice. I initially consulted with Elena, but I hadn't made my mind up on which doctor and if I was actually going there. When I did decide, I contacted Marrubio on IG because she was putting out a lot of posts. My experience with her was not good. I provided her with my credit card info to put my deposit down. She said multiple times that it would not go through. I asked her to ensure she had everything correct. She said she did, I called the bank, they had no record of it trying to come through, which led me to believe she had not entered it properly because they would have seen a decline and given me a reason. I didn't hear from her for a several days, so I started DMing New Life. Someone from the office ended up calling me and I provided them with my same banking info and it went right through. Then a few days after that, Marrubio calls me to ask about an alternative method to pay my deposit!? I'm like "your co-worker already took care of that". She said she had been on vacation and did not know. Ok! Anyway, after that I could not get a word out of her. I was messaging her, DMing, etc. I was like 3 weeks away from surgery, I had not received any correspondence from them, what medications/supplements to stop, what labs I needed from my physician, NOTHING! So I finally made a post, and other surgery dolls were sending me their lists! Surgery consultant Elena, who was out on recovery from a procedure herself, DM'd me and helped me through the process. One of the medications on the list was Phentermine, which I was taking because I wanted to lose some weight before sx., and I hadn't had any labwork done, so I ended up having to reschedule. I actually had to show my primary doctor a DM with the list of tests that needed to be performed....smh....so unprofessional. Anyway, I got everything done, stopped taking the phentermine and was cleared for surgery. I arrived at New Life on Friday the 18th for pre-op and as many other dolls have stated, the place was packed! Oh SN.....the parking sucks!!!! They do not have adequate parking for that facility, you end up having to park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk. Pre-op was not bad for me....I think because of all the problems that I had prior to my appointment, they were very prompt and did not have me waiting around. I did not pay my balance in full prior, I paid that day because I did not want to risk losing my money for any reason. So, I paid (I also added arm lipo), I signed documents and I saw Dr. Dowbak. I was there for about 2 hours. Dr. Dowbak was wonderful! She brought me into her office, she took her time, answered questions, looked at my body, she told me she felt she could give me great results. I was very comfortable. She explained the procedure for the next day and told me I would be first. :-) Saturday I arrived at about 5:50 a.m. The facility was not open yet, staff was running a little late. There were about 6-7 girls that I saw before I went back. I was one of the first to go back to the back. Dr. Dowbak came in, marked me up, she was very pleasant and ready. My anesthesiologist was awesome, I don't know his name but he was a black guy with an accent. He was very soothing, he explained everything as he was doing it and assured me that he was going to take great care of me. That was the last thing I remember him saying. I woke up in recovery, the bed was at a 45 degree angle, but I was not all the way back in the bed so I was slouched and my butt was aching. The girl next to me was screaming"help me, please; help me!". I felt bad for her because I was in no pain. My first memory is asking the nurse if i was done and she told me I was and that I did great. I immediately tried to reposition myself in the bed, but the nurse was like "no mami!" she thought I was trying to get up. I said I'm just moving. She said ok. I was in PACU for probably 30 minutes and then I was ready to go. They were looking at me like are you sure, I said yes, I feel fine. So, they got me ready, wheeled me out and the recovery home people were there to pick me up. Oh, another SN: I was staying at a hotel (the pictures looked great, it had a kitchen...it was an extended stay...it was so crappy, I tried to get another room, but they were all booked) When Dr. Dowbak found out where I was staying she told me no, she would feel more comfortable if I stayed at a RH even though I had someone with me. So, she called the RH, explained everything and they took me in for the first night. My recovery was great, my bruising went away well, I didn't have extreme swelling and I didn't have pain. I did not take any of the pain medication, I used CBD gummies and Tylenol. I got 3 massages while in Miami, starting the 1st day after sx and continued them when home. As time went on, I was not completely satisfied with my results. I had some uneven lipo, some back/bra fat left, my stomach had areas of no lipo, my transfer did not have the projection that I wanted and I have a squarish shape at the top of my butt. You will see from the pictures. I contacted Dr. Dowbak to ask for a revision and sent her pictures. She ok'd my revision and gave me the number for Lia. Lia was very responsive and I am scheduled for August 24. I'm so excited to do it again. I think Dr. Dowbak gave me a great foundation and although I'm not completely satisfied, I do feel much better about how I look in clothes as long as they are not too fitted to show the areas of concern. I just don't feel comfortable naked or in a bikini. I will also do some things differently with my compression on this time around. I have seen various techniques for compressing the lower abdomen that I will try. I will use a wrap around foam instead of the sheets and I will use the faja that has the full thick straps that cover the entire back like a t-shirt as opposed to the ones with the bra-like straps. I believe that I will get great retraction on my abdomen this time around and I am ready. My revision will be at Glamorous. I know that there are a lot of reviews out there with warnings about Dr. Dowbak and/or New Life. Read them and take information that is beneficial, but also remember that this is surgery and our results may not be perfect the first time. Some of our wish pics have had multiple rounds and touch ups, filters, etc. I went in hoping I would only need 1 round, but that wasn't the case for me. I'm grateful that she saw what I saw and is willing to do the revision at a discounted rate. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dowbak and if you need a consultant with New Life, choose Elena. I am new to the site and Im looking to see if anyone is planning a surgery mid or late summer or later. Looking for a travel buddy since i will be traveling alone. I Just finished my consultation with dr. dobak and will be scheduling my date soon. I am going to be having a BBl. i will be traveling from Alabama.

I’m a bit impatient so I’m not completely satisfied YET but there’s definitely a difference from my pre-op and post-op body. Only thing that concerns me is my coordinator kind of promised that my stomach would be flat after lipo so I wouldn’t need a tummy tuck. My stomach is still kind of bigger than I want but I’m trying to wait until my 2 month post op mark to determine whether I want to get a tuck for my stomach or not. I’m also hoping that my results look more flattering when the swelling goes down. As of now, they aren’t as prominent as I was hoping they would be. Dowbak was super sweet though when I came out of recovery. Personally wrapped me in warm blankets because I was shivering cold and gave me a rose as I was wheeled out to my mom by the nurse.
