Procedure is scheduled Saturday, November 17th, 2018. I want to share my entire process. First of all, it's very important to go to more than one consult and research and read up reviews on the Doctor. I went to two and chose to go with Dr. Melvin Ashford at Minnesota Women's Care Clinic. Not only is he doing the lipo but he also provided me with 3 sessions of ultrashape along with it. I will be having a pre-op before the procedure and will share details about that when the time comes. So far, I have attached at home before pictures. Updated on 22 Dec 2018: I began a review a few months ago, however I think that may have deleted it because I haven' had the procedure done yet, and didn't update. Spsh... life gets in the way. Anyways, I am scheduled to have the procedure done in 3 weeks. I will be getting smart lipo on my upper and lower abdomen, along with my flanks and lower back. After that I will be doing a few sessions of ultra shape. I will continue to update as the process goes on. Next step will be the pre-op. Updated on 23 Dec 2018: Just wanted to add a before video. Ignore the self hate. Anyways there is a 200 word count minimum so just ignore this all this. This website really needs to be organized better tbh. Lol. Also, I had to purchase a compression garment for $110. They said people normally purchase two, but fts cuz I'd only need it for 2 weeks. So yea if it gets dirty oh well lol. Anyways, I have to stop all vitamins, supplements, and consuming alcohol today. The night before I'll eat, take my first antibiotic pill, and then I have to a shower and wash with hiblicens soap (which they didnt give me, and wouldve had to buy, but I had some already). Then in the morning I'll have a light breakfast, take my a 2nd pill of the antibiotic, take another shower and wash with the hiblicens again, however after I can't put on any makeup or creams (my skin going to be dry af!) I'm having my friend drop me off and once I get there I have to take the antianxiety, anti nausea, and pain medication. I'm not getting put under. Its local anesthetic they are using only. I can wear a bra and underwear for the procedure, but it'll be ones that I'm willing to get all gross. They said the procedure will take like 3hrs or so and they will call my friend to pick me up like 30 minutes before I'm done. Then my friend has to stay with me for 24 hours after the procedure. After that I will go back for post-op visits. Updated on 12 Jan 2019: Not post op pics until Monday the 14th though because I am.advised to wear this compression garment until then. I'm going to apply bacitracin to them until they scab over then he's going to give me an anti-scaring cream for me to apply. -I was still in pain today whenever I made large movements like getting in and out of bed or my car. I do plan to take some vicodin before I go to bed for hopefully this will be the first night I actually sleep through the night without waking up in pain. - For how swollen I am I think I look amazing. -I will be starting the ultrashape sessions 4 week post OP. But yea yesterday I walked for 30 min on the treadmill and today for an hour. I so can not wait to really get to working out so I can really get these results popping. In the meanwhile I've been drinking at least 10 cups of water a day, taking a bunch of healing vitamins, and eating healthy. -Anyways, it was dark when taking these photos. I'll try to get some better ones on Saturday, which will be 1 week post. Updated on 26 Jan 2019: Eh... so far it's not as dramatic as I'd like it to be. Yea it's been only 2 weeks, but still its discouraging. Lol. I'm so impatient I know. Plus being on my period probably doesnt help. Lol. Anyways I'll post again in 2 weeks which is when I will start the sessions of the Ultrashape also. That too tho takes awhile to yield results. So hoping to be popping by this summer tho. Updated on 24 Feb 2019: -10% for the wounds -10% still healing So far I'm really liking my results. People are noticing and saying how tiny I look. What I love most, however, is that the fat on my belly no longer jiggles. I can workout/dance and feel no pain from my belly bouncing up and down and it isnt distracting when looking at. I'm really really happy. The wounds though arent attractive. I've been wearing the scar away sheets to help heal them better. But yea here is a updated video. Updated on 13 Apr 2019: So far I'm 3 months and 1 week post up. Along with the smart lipo I've completed 3 sessions of ultrashape and 1 session of velashape I have 2 more left. I'm still satisfied with my results. Worth $5595, but no more than that. I itll get much flatter as time goes on which is should. Updated on 14 Apr 2019: Left photo is before the surgery, January 2019, and the Right photo is now, which is 3 months and a week post op. I still hope it gets flatter. So far I am at like an 85% out of 100% satisfaction. I am sure it will keep getting better
