Q: Can the frequencies used in Exilis treatment affect fertility or future pregnancies?
Answered by Dr. Martinez-Lecompte MDJuly 11, 2022

A: Exilis is non invasive treatment, is safe. There are no studies that mention any relationship between infertily and exilis.

Q: Nurse told me that the success rate of PRP was only 10%, is this true?
Answered by Dr. Martinez-Lecompte MDJune 3, 2022

A: Hello! PRP works very well, but a good diagnosis with the purpose of determining the causes and type of hair loss is always more important. Then, determining the causes, a specific treatment is started that can be accompanied by PRP that helps us recover with young cells healthier cells that stimulate the follicles that are available. Normally one application per month is recommended for the first three months, then a fourth application 3 months after and then every 6 months.

Q: Lumps on forehead still 38 hours after Botox. What should I do? (photos)
Answered by Dr. Martinez-Lecompte MDMay 28, 2019

A: Hi!

I can tell you that this is very uncommon. I saw a case about 6 months ago, I concluded it was an immunological reaction because the Botox effect only last in this case for about one month, it would be interesting to hear from your evolution.

Thanks for your question.

Q: Dissolving finesterid 1mg tablets in topical minoxidil - Is there any complications in that or any other side effects.
Answered by Dr. Martinez-Lecompte MDMay 28, 2019

A: HI!

I don’t really think that it may cause you any trouble or serious side effects but you may want a certified compound stabilized formulation. It will be better to have it at a compound pharmacy.
