I'll keep this short.. I've had excessive sweating under my armpits for 20 years. I learned of Miradry about 3 weeks ago and began researching. I found who I believe to be one of the best at this treatment, so I scheduled my treatment. I had my procedure yesterday at Changes Medical Spa in Johnson City, TN. The staff was excellent and knew everything there was to know about the condition and the procedure. They performed it on their son years back too. They began by doing a starch an iodine test on me to show where I sweat. After the test, came the numbing procedure. This was the least pleasant part, but it wasn't too bad. They used the latest method of numbing thankfully. After the numbing they used the miradry machine on me. This took about 20 minutes I think per arm. I only felt it one time (like someone was pinching me), they stopped and applied some more numbing and proceded. Last night I was feeling like I had scraped my underarms. They stung a little bit, but taking some ibuprofen and applying some ice packs was all that was needed. This morning I don't have that sting, but still swollen.
Very shady untrustworthy practices. Didn't reveal lab information about dangerously high testosterone after Biote pellets inserted. Wouldn't release my records until my doctor called and talked to Dr. Shelton. Some of the information in my records was false trying to cover themselves. I believed their hype when they talked me into some lasering to my thighs and other services that were a complete waste of my money. After writing a letter and getting no response, I left a negative review on the FB page. Dr. Shelton sent me a messenger message saying they would talk to me about my concerns if I removed the review. I told her I would remove it if they refunded my money.
