Take my Double Chin Away! Charlotte, NC

After losing and gaining 50+ lbs, the first place that always shows a gain is my face. Cue the double chin. It just made my face look rounder than it already is. A friend of mine introduced me to the ladies at Med Boutique in Ballantyne/Charlotte, NC. After a chin cup test and thorough discussion of the procedure, they confirmed I was a candidate for coolsculpting. We took a couple before photos, and then I was whisked off to the coolsculpting room. There was a comfy chair with loads of pillows and a flat screen tv for entertainment. My only task was to sit still as possible. After another thorough explanation on the procedure, they attached the device to my chin. It just felt like a cold, somewhat aggressive vacuum, not painful. I believe I had it in for 40min or so? Sorry it was 6 weeks ago so I can't remember exactly. The only uncomfortable part was the post-suction massage. They explained it was necessary to massage and knead my chin to aid in the effectiveness of the process. Your chin is just super tender after the process and someone kneading it like dough afterwards isn't the most pleasant, but necessary nonetheless. For about 3 weeks after my chin was numb. Didn't bug me, and I didn't notice it unless I touched it. They say you don't see the full possibility of the procedure until 12 weeks. I'm 6 weeks in and pleased thus far. Will happily do a second treatment if necessary.
