Peeled to the Max

I have had chemical peels prior to this one but I have to say that the VI peel was the most intense of all. If peeling equals results then my results should be amazing. I’m on day 7 and still peeling around my nose, mouth and hairline. I think I have peeled 2 or 3 different times now or at least that is what it feels like. I can absolutely feel a difference in the texture of my skin and the t...

I can’t say enough good things about the friendly staff at Meadows Surgical Arts! I went in anxiously for a weight loss consult and came out with more self confidence than I have had in years. Jasmine and the entire team always strive to make me feel my best while in the office and after I leave.

Disappointing VI Peel results & don’t see much difference

My procedure was done by “Tia”. She was very nice and friendly. I’m not finding any fault with her. I was just expecting a better outcome. Definitely NOT worth the money. If I had it to do over, I probably would put this money toward a procedure that really works. This was a waste as of now but will discuss results at my next appointment to see if I can expect my facial skin to change more ...

Very pleased - this has given me the confidence boost I needed

I am extremely pleased with the work that Dr. Medina did. I am only two weeks post op but the results are amazing and exactly what I wanted. The entire staff is very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Dr. Medina took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to me and I never felt rushed or like I was just another number. Thank you for making me feel better about myself and...

Q: Could I potentially have Symmastia? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. KluskaApril 19, 2024

A: Symmastia results when the muscle and or skin between the breast has been elevated too much and implants tend to migrate into the central region. Without your bra on, it does not appear to be so, but the only way to tell is physical exam in person. If you do have symmastia, the correction involves suturing the skin and or muscle back to its original attachment and the procedure takes approximately one hour to do with 3 to 4 weeks of recovery and return to full Activity.

Q: Old traumatic nose injury during childhood (Photo)
Answered by Dr. KluskaApril 19, 2024

A: If the only thing that you wanna do is make your nose appear more straight, you would benefit greatly from a septoplasty. This procedure takes approximately one hour and will straighten the internal division between your left and right nostril. Additionally, you may need to have the bones on the proximal portion of the nose repositioned, this could be done at the same time as the septoplasty. Total recovery time is approximately 10 to 14 days. Good luck!

Q: Question regarding periorbital fat grafting results 9 months post (Photo)
Answered by Dr. KluskaApril 19, 2024

A: For all of us, the face is not perfectly symmetrical, and you may have had some of these asymmetry prior to your surgery. That said, residual swelling, especially when you do deep plain facelift can last six months to one year. Lastly, if you had any type of facial Fat Grafting This could also result in some mild a symmetries and lumpiness. Not sure if you had had the fat pockets removed from the lower eyelids if not, that may also help smooth the transition zone from the lid to the cheek for you.

Q: I need another perspective on my nose (Photo)
Answered by Dr. KluskaApril 19, 2024

A: If you were to refine your tip, this could result in the appearance of the rest of your nose proximal to your tip, looking wider. Additionally, tip refinement may further accentuate your dorsal hump on your nose. All of this could throw off your facial harmony it would be my suggestion that if you did do a rhinoplasty that the hump would be slightly reduced, and the width of the proximal portion of your nose would be narrowed, in order to give the nose, better symmetry and harmony. Lastly, in regards to your nasal openings, it would be extremely difficult to change the opening, but you could narrow the base of the nose just a bit. Any questions let me know. Good luck!

Q: Deep Plane neck or lipo? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. KluskaMarch 1, 2024

A: Unfortunately, you have developed an inflammatory response from the cool sculpting. That being said, vaser liposuction may not be able to treat this, and you would benefit greatly from a deep plane NECK LIFT. This would allow for direct excision of the hardened fat above the muscle, and then address the fat below the muscle as well.
