I had some awful acne scarring, under my cheekbones and on my cheeks. Rolling acne scars. They were very deep and prominent. I couldn’t look anyone in the eye. During the pandemic I was able to hide them under my mask which relieved some of the anxiety I felt going to the grocery store ect. So I did alot of research on procedures and Doctors. That’s when I discovered Bellafill and Dr. Martin. When I realized I wanted to get bellafill bc of how long it lasts and is best filler for acne scarring. I started researching doctors in and around my area. I found that Dr. Martin was a board certified plastic surgeon who also had the title diamond filler. Which is a Bellafill expert! I called scheduled the consult. Dr. Martin and his staff were so nice and friendly and put me immediately at ease. He said I was a good candidate. So we did a skin test (to test for allergic reaction) and scheduled me back in a month. I had no reaction so when I came back he started with two syringes. I wish I had pictures but I NEVER allowed myself to be photographed. I wouldn’t take pictures with my kids or anyone if someone took out there phone to take a picture I would run the other way! I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure and after my face was pretty swollen and bruised. It took a about a week for the swelling to completely subside and then it didn’t look as full as I thought it would. But then about a month later it just filled back out and the side where the scars were most prominent is all smoothed out! I am so grateful to God and Dr. Martin!!!! He didn’t just fill in the scar itself but the area around it everything is so much more even and flat. He really is an expert! Dr. Martin if you can see this Thank you so much and God bless you!
