Doctor reviews I scheduled a consultation with Dr Shridharani at LUXURGERY after having researched many plastic surgeons online and had narrowed it down to those seemingly "top 5" in NY at least based on reviews . I couldn't find a single bad or mediocre review for him, however, since the surgeries that I would require after a 130 lb weight loss were very extensive and with wildly varying results from doctor to doctor , I was sure that I would have more consultations with at least 2 more surgeons afterwards . From the moment I left the consultation I knew I didn't need to look further . He was very clear with me in managing my expectations and telling me very realistically what is and isn't possible in my case but also what isn't safe . He didn't try to "sell to me" amazing results . He told me exactly by how much he can honestly improve my situation and now , 3 weeks after my double surgery with him, I can tell with absolute certainty that he did that and more . I was very pleasantly surprised . I am so happy with my results ! Oh - the best part : You can search online all you want , I guarantee you that you will not find incisions as thin and beautifully executed as his . At least half of them look like a light scratch and some of them are so faint they just look like a shadow . I used to be so scared about the length of the process of post op scar treatment , honestly I am would probably be just fine even without any silicone tape. It's that much better than I expected . He is very warm , personable ,sweet and jolly and despite how busy he ( clearly ) is he has never made me feel rushed or just like an anonymous case . He is very easily reachable and always answered my *countless* questions with a smile on his face . He schedules many pre and post op appointments and truly makes you feel as though you are the only patient he has . He was even using a translation app to communicate with my mom in person ( her English is limited) instead of having me translate it all . It's *that * level of care and attitude that confirms the saying " you get what you pay for " . I can't end this review without mentioning his amazing staff that are truly a testimony to his standard of care for his patients . All the girls are chosen so carefully to match his style of care and patient relationships . Anna Lucia and Kasha ( and previously Gabby ) , they are all just as jolly, polite and welcoming as him - and all that in an impressively genuine fashion . The night before my surgeries I briefly got cold feet and thought to my self " am I really about to trust my life and results in a double surgery to this ( young ) person , when I didn't even consult a second surgeon ?" . Well my first impression and gut instinct were right indeed . I have a long journey ahead in terms of excess skin removal but I know that it will all be trusted to him . Don't think twice !
